"My fiancé and I were planning a birthday trip to Glasgow and I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel. This hotel came up and was much cheaper than other options. We were certainly not disappointed! The staff, from the receptionist to the bar and restaurant staff, were excellent. They were very friendly and helpful.  Since it was my husband’s birthday, we received a room upgrade and a complimentary drink for both of us, which was a lovely touch. As we walked to our room, the hotel was clean and tidy and smelled great. The room itself was absolutely gorgeous. The layout was very different from anything I’d ever seen. The amenities were great. There was a small fridge, a modern TV with Chromecast so I didn’t need to plug in my Firestick, which I always take on trips as many TVs are outdated or not smart. There was plenty of storage and a safe. And the bed was one of the best features. I didn’t even realise it was electric – amazing! The mattress was actually the best I’ve ever slept on. I’m even considering buying one for my bed at home. The ambience of the whole hotel was amazing. The lighting was perfect and the music in the restaurant was just right – not too loud or too quiet. The food was lovely. Breakfast was buffet-style with plenty of choices, and we also had dinner at Vega on our first night. The menu was great and the food was cooked to our liking. The service was top-notch! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Glasgow. You’ll be well looked after. We’ll definitely be coming back and will also visit their hotel in Edinburgh. I hope Yotel opens more branches around the UK in the future. I’d certainly stay there instead of my usual hotel stays at a popular chain."

"I stay here for two nights, the bed was clean but the table and bed is quite cramped I couldn’t really sit and relax and the toilet area need to be refurbished but shower was nice with the water pressure and last it’s not a bad thing but this is the first time I stay in hotel where my room it’s underground but other than that it’s nice and comfortable stay. And I saw this spot it’s nice to take photo 5 minutes walk."

"We had a fantastic stay at Clayton Hotel Glasgow. The hotel was modern, spotless, and in a perfect location within walking distance of the city centre and many attractions. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always willing to help with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose Clayton Hotel Glasgow again on our next visit. Highly recommended!"

"The service was next level, with us going to get a taxi at one point outside the hotel and a staff member coming out to put an umbrella over us. The inside was probably the cleanest hotel we have been in with booking the executive room the space in the room was very big, the mirrors are excellent along with the shower being rainfall and having the normal head as well. I’d 100% book a room with a complimentary mini bar since they don’t just re-fill the drinks the re-fill the snacks. You must try the food as well being one of the best breakfasts we’ve had, along with room service we ordered a burger that was to die for. One of our favourite memories will be in the outside smoking/bar lounge being in Glasgow listening to the rain while wrapped in blankets under heated lights smoking a cigar drinking fine wine created the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. They also set your blind and bed and everything to exactly how you like it honestly this hotel is the real deal."

"The hotel is quite large, offering self check-in and check-out. There were many guests staying. On the first floor, there's an entertainment area with billiards and table tennis. You can use your room card to get billiard cues and balls. There's also a self-service laundry room where guests can wash and dry clothes for free, which is very convenient. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The towels were also very soft. It seemed there was no refrigerator, but there was a safe. I recommend staying here, though the room rates were incredibly expensive these past couple of days because of a competition in Glasgow."

"We booked the wrong date for our stay and didn't realise until arrival. The amazing Kathleen sorted everything for us. What an asset to the Crowne Plaza she is. Thank you so much for taking the stress out of it and helping us have such a lovely stay."

"Great hotel. Had an executive room and was pleased to find water, toothbrush and various things I'd forgotten to bring. Room was large and the beds were very comfortable. I'd asked for early check in as I was in Glasgow for my son's graduation and was able to get into the room early to get ready. I would highly recommend and definitely stay there again"

"The hotel is very good. Although the building is old, it doesn't feel old. It feels rich and historical. The murals on the corridors show the glory of the past. The bed in the suite was very comfortable, and the sofa turned into a bed for the children to sleep well. The breakfast was great. In general, Scotland was cold enough to make people feel safe and warm."
