"I am rarely 'blown away' by hotels but Citizen M truly blew me away and exceeded all my expectations. First of all, the staff member who greeted me was super friendly, asked me about my trip and the check in process was probably the easiest, fastest and most modern process I have ever experienced anywhere. When I walked into the room, I almost thought I walked into the wrong room because the size of the bed was HUGE (much bigger and better in real life than displayed in the pictures). The room itself was also much bigger than I expected, and so very modern and 'cool' like a spaceship. It had a homely feel and had some truly unique features like an ipad to control the TV, the lights (brightness and colour - very cool again!!), blinds (and more) and you could even play games with the lights. There was a moment where I truly felt I could spend an entire day just in the hotel room because it was so fun being in there and I looked forward to coming home to my hotel every night."

The hotel's hospitality and value for money were a pleasant surprise, especially compared to Edinburgh where hotels cost at least twice as much. The bed was just right, not too hard, not too soft, and my kids loved the haggis for breakfast!"

Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and I’d happily return. Great value, good service and plenty of personality!"

"Booked a twin room but requested for a double bed if available. Given a room for disabled, whice had no furniture AT ALL, except the bed. No side tablets even. Window pane was fixed. There's no ventilation from the room as pane is f8xed and to get to your room you’ll have to pass through a series of fire doors. Air inside is trapped from ages. I developed nasal congestion due to this. On top of this, we were charged with 5 GBP for keeping luggage in storage before check in. I don't recommend booking this hotel."

"Trendy and central, Moxy offers a fun, modern stay in the heart of Glasgow. The rooms are compact but clean, with comfy beds and good Wi-Fi. There’s no individual air-con, so it can get warm. Great social vibe in the bar/lounge, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. Ideal for short, casual stays."

"Lovely room for a family of four. The front desk staff were very helpful, but unfortunately, none of them mentioned that the hotel offers a free gym and steam room/spa for guests. I only found out about this after checking out, which was a shame. Our experience with breakfast wasn’t great. On the first day, we waited around 20 minutes for two fried eggs—one of which came overcooked and the other undercooked with a runny center. On the last day, they had already run out of croissants more than an hour before breakfast ended. Also, there were no signs indicating the availability of chocolate powder for hot chocolate, so I didn’t realise it was there until our final morning. Additionally, the hotel advertises a free drink when signing up for membership. I scanned the QR code and signed up on the first day, but there were no instructions on how to claim the drink, so I never got to use it."
