i can't smell cigarettes residues, but i can definitely feel it on the blankets, kind of sticky. Luckily, there are fresh sheets. The blankets are a little overkill for summers anyway.
individual showers plus bath tub, toilets. Although it's a little small, but it gets the job done. You also got free TV, with movies and stuff, BTW, people with kids might need have more parental control over the remote."

"Facilities: The Japanese-style room we booked is super big. The only inconvenient thing is that the toilet and bathroom are outside the room. We were given a separate key, so we had to go out of the bedroom door every time. It was a little inconvenient.
The hotel has a lot of information about train schedules, which is convenient for reading.
Hygiene: Since the room is old and large, there are still some dead corners, but it can be ignored.
Environment: There is a very large supermarket around the hotel, which is convenient for buying all kinds of food and daily necessities and snacks. There are several restaurants around, but since we arrived on Tuesday, Kumano Gyu and the two restaurants recommended by everyone were closed.
Service: The service staff was very enthusiastic. Maybe because the toilet and bathroom were not in the room, they took us to the room and told us how to use them.
Breakfast: Better than nothing. We went to eat curry rice at 7 o'clock, and the curry was gone. There was only bread, egg sausage, rice, and miso soup."

"It is best to take a taxi to the hotel, because the actual distance is not a straight line distance, the world will go old, the taxi is about 730-820 Japanese currency, check-in because the downstairs is a password lock, can not enter at the beginning, are asking for the assistance of the supermarket staff next to it or just someone in and out to enter. The accommodation is also self-service, and finally someone will give you a set of passwords, but after 17:00 in the evening, the staff will get off work ⋯⋯ is my experience.
As for the living environment, it is all public toilets, bathrooms, kitchens, but it is very clean. This is very good. The washing machine and dryer equipment are great. We live in the room. 3-4 The room has a lot of space.
There is a bicycle to rent for free, which is also great
Riding to the jr station quickly, taking the bus to the Honya Daegu Shrine on Kumanoko Road, and Tangzhifeng, the timetable should be optimistic
Return to jr station must also call in advance
In short, the overall experience is good"

The hotel is easily visible once you exit the JR station; just follow the green-painted road. It's about a 10-minute walk, even with luggage in tow.
The room was remarkably spacious, surprisingly so for a Japanese hotel! While the decor showed its age a bit, it was very well-maintained and immaculately clean.
Shingu itself isn't a bustling town, and the streets were quite empty. However, I was surprised by how many guests were at breakfast.
The breakfast itself was average taste-wise, but the selection was plentiful, so you could definitely get a full and satisfying meal."
