"This hotel is in a lively area of Daegu, right next to the Yangnyeongsi market. There's a Haidilao and a 7-Eleven downstairs, and Dongseong-ro is nearby. However, you'll need to take the subway to get to Dongdaegu. Overall, I was very satisfied. Even though the hotel was busy every day, breakfast was never an issue; there were always plenty of seats. They had sukiyaki beef and radish beef soup, which was quite a good spread. The room was spacious enough to open three suitcases without a problem. My only minor complaint is that the air conditioning was very strong and made me feel a bit dizzy. Remember that hotels in Korea typically don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so bring your own."

"It is very near to Dongdaegu train station. GPS will walk the ”best” route which had us climb up a rather steep slope to other side, tiring hauling luggage along! A more flat route was available, slightly longer :). The room was very spacious and clean, a PC was available, a huge bathroom with tub. The LG styler was the best thing in the room to help refresh our clothe... Love it! A 10min+ walk got us to a street full of eateries. There is also a big mall just outside the train station. Airport around 15 min taxi ride. One note when booking a taxi on k-ride, the pickup spot somehow jumped to the back street, beware. It would better to use the open car park next to the hotel for pickup point."

"The location of the hotel is great and there are plenty of eateries and shops around the area. Definitely ask the staff for (food) recommendation(s), as we had the best food recommend to us by the hotel staff. The sound isolation is also good, so while the hotel is located in a busy street, it was nice to be able to quietly sleep and rest after a full day of walking around and exploring Daegu."

Towels changed daily too. The master toilet had a strong stench and it was unbearable. Reported to housekeeping but nothing was done during our stay."

"It was a terrible experience. The heating system wasn’t able to adjust and it kept the room temperature at 28-29 degrees. Too hard and all night couldn’t sleep well. I understand it is central system. But the hotel must to something to fix the problem, not just say sorry or tell us nothing you could do."

"It's very close to the train station and has underfloor heating, but the bed was like being roasted alive. Even with an electric blanket to warm it up, and the mattress on the floor, it was still like a sauna. Finally, I had no choice but to move the blanket to the bathroom doorway (the floor is tiled and doesn't heat up), and endured that for a few hours. Also, after the order was confirmed, I received numerous calls saying they couldn't arrange it, forcing me to choose one of three options. It was just incredibly frustrating!"

AAnonymous UserHere’s a refined version while keeping your warm, positive tone: Great location! Just a short walk from Dongdaegu Station and many well-known eateries. I felt truly welcomed during my stay — a special thanks to Ann, front desk for her kindness. She even wrote a thoughtful welcome card wishing me wonderful memories in Daegu. Although there were a few small inconveniences, the friendly smiles and excellent service from Ann and the rest of the staff made my stay outstanding. I happily give this hotel 5 stars and hope to return in the future again!

NNanookleskimoThe house is easy to find thanks to the neon sign, it is peaceful and located 15 min away by walking from the shopping and restaurants area. It's an old traditional house very well maintained with a beautiful Korean garden in the midst of a scooter repair shop neighborhood, which makes it quiet at night. The rooms have AC and have beautiful wooden panels. The bedding is comfortable with a double futon. The pillows are a bit too hard though on the neck. The bathroom is clean. They provide shampoo and soap amenities. Coffee and tea you can help yourself with in the shared kitchen. The owners work quite hard to make it welcoming and were helpful in providing touristic information about the city. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it to any families looking for a soothing and peaceful stay in a traditional yet modern setting.

CC.biI cannot fault this hostel. Easy check in, the owner speaks good English and is very helpful, the hostel itself is very well thought out with everything you might need (there's even a makeup room in the third floor with lots of mirrors and hair straighteners as well as hair dryers) the spaces are all very clean, great amenities and public spaces, and it is in an ideal location. Walking distance from the train station and near many interesting tourist spots. I would highly recommend going to a tourist information point and getting a map that has the Stamp walking tour (not available in the hostel even though they have many city maps and travel information easily accessible) collecting the stamps is very fun on its own but if you follow the tour you'll get to find a lot of hidden gems along the way that are all very near and around the Hostel, all of this for free and it only takes a couple of hours.

LLagertha14The accommodation is very comfortable with complete facilities. Although we arrived before check-in time, the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage. During our stay, the hotel was under renovation. We had reserved breakfast, but it was not available, so the hotel refunded us and upgraded our room for one night. However, we had to move to a different room the next night due to ongoing renovations. The room conditions matched the pictures shown. The staff was lovely and, despite not speaking English, made great efforts to assist us. There are convenience stores and numerous restaurants around the hotel, making it very convenient for work. Transportation is easy, with a bus stop within walking distance. If there is an opportunity, we will stay here again.

The bar and restaurant street is a few minutes' walk from the subway. There is a chain supermarket Nice to C U diagonally opposite downstairs. You can also walk to the famous pedestrian street and Daegu Railway Station. Very convenient! 🧑🤝🧑The reception staff has a professional and rigorous work attitude. The reception is warm and friendly. Although the young brother who checked in didn't speak English very fluently, it can be seen that he worked very hard and moved people. I am a French citizen and only need to show my passport. 🚽The room is spacious, bright, clean and tidy, and separated from wet and dry. Although the exterior of the hotel feels small, the interior is very exquisite. The infrastructure is complete: passenger elevator, TV, air conditioning, shower, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, disposable slippers, water heater, table and chairs. The most eye-catching thing is the deep soaking bathtub, air purifier, and the large mirror in front of the big head shower. Especially the multifunctional ironing/drying machine in the room, which I thought was a refrigerator at first! A machine for disinfecting clothes! Free mineral water, instant coffee and tea are also provided. 💕Other things that may need attention or improvement: ⚙️The clothing machine is only in Korean and needs Google translation for photography, which is not very convenient for us foreigners. 😂 All in all, it is highly recommended and worth collecting! 👍🏿🤠

GGuest UserWhile it is a budget hostel, and the location is a bit of a walk inside the back street, I did not expect it to be too luxury or anything special. What was strange was that eventhough I arrived before 10PM, there was nobody at the reception desk, and I had to call to be able to speak with someone for check in and being directed to a self check in machine. With my broken korean language skill, it was difficult but I made it at the end. The room has some black moulds and I had to plug off the mini fridge to be able to use the power point to charge my phone, mini fan and whatever else. And in the morning that mini fridge has produced some water on the floor after being thawed. Towels were provided but they were smelly. The bottom of the toilet were not sealed properly to the floor (the sillicone joint has worn off). The room is in need of renovation. I managed to do the self check out when I went downstairs the next morning (with the same machine). Then I realised I couldn’t get out via the entrance door that I got in the night before, because it was locked at around 11AM. After I rang the owner again, he directed me to leave by the back door. Then I was trying to find my way at the back area to go out to the street and catch a taxi. This hostel by far was the worst place I have stayed ever. I was glad I only booked for 1 night.

GGuest UserThe hotel was good enough for one night. However, the check in process was quite difficult for a foreigner who doesn't speak any Korean, so make sure you have your translation apps handy! The room itself smelled a bit like cigarettes. I'm not sure if I accidentally booked a smoking room, but I assume I didn't since my reservation didn't say as such. There was also no natural light in the room. While there was a window, it was covered in some kind of plastic film. The hallway was also completely dark. The bathroom and toilet were excellent, and so was the little bag of amenities offered. Bed was clean and comfortable. Good enough for a one night stay, but wouldn't come again!
