We just stay 2 nights but very nice experience. Love the simple and clean room. Great location near Newport beach and University of California, Irvine.

The room was ok, the facilities were ok, but the soundproofing was so bad that I almost jumped out of my seat when I heard the party in the middle of the night. To be honest, I could hear the normal conversations in the next room clearly, not to mention the party in the middle of the night. What was even more annoying was the arrogant attitude of the front desk. I called twice and went to the front desk to find the staff, but they said that the parents of the children at the party were senior members of Hyatt! There was nothing they could do! I will never stay in such a hotel again!

Booked for a friend for a business trip. Comprehensive comparison, the price/performance ratio is relatively good, the location is convenient, the environment is comfortable, and the front desk staff service is also good. Overall it can be recommended.

The newly renovated hotel, the former Irvine Hotel, was renovated after joining Hyatt. The smell is very strong. There is no problem with the facilities. I just need to wait another half year before staying. The decoration smell is very strong. I don’t know if it is a problem with the materials. .

Loved that it was pet friendly. All the staff was super nice. Loved that they had a marketplace with lots of food choices & delicious coffee. Beautiful lobby. Can't wait to go back & try out the new restaurant. Beds were comfy & loved that the flooring in the rooms were hardwood and not carpet. Lots of restraunts in the area as well. Close to the beaches.

When I ride for check-in, the lady that assist me was wonderful. Very friendly, answered my questions, assisted me with a late check-in due to me being from out of town and having surgery here. It’s been wonderful since I walked in.

The room was nice and super clean. One thing I didn’t like was that I paid for 2 days of valet, but we only used the service for 1 day. When we informed the front desk about this, they said they couldn't refund us because we didn't mention it on the day of use. It seems unreasonable that we can't get a refund for the unused day of parking.

We had such a pleasant stay. Our flight came in a little earlier than expected and the front desk was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel itself is very clean and has a very cute modern look. Bed was comfortable and had a lot of room for storage. They do not offer free on site parking. We paid $40 for self-parking & they offer valet so plan accordingly. Would stay here again!

Prior to our stay, I had received an email from Hyatt Regency Irvine saying they were going through renovations at the moment. As a result, I expected there to be signs of construction when I got to the hotel but I would not have known anything was amiss. I don't use the gym so it didn't bother me and we ate elsewhere most of the time there so not a big deal. Our room still had that "new wood floors" smell which didn't bother us in the least. The room was very nice. My only comments are that the bench seating is on the same wall as the TV so you would not be facing the TV when you sit. The other minor inconvenience for me (a light sleeper) were the motion sensor lights at the bottom of the beds that kept turning on each time my son moved on his bed or I moved on my bed. I forgot my sleepmask so the lights were a bit annoying for a light sensitive sleeper. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Hyatt. Thank you.
