We stayed here for 3 nights early May. We had a rental car and had no problem finding parking anytime we’d come back to the hotel. It’s in a great location, out of the busy area of Interlaken but still close enough so places didn’t feel inaccessible. We stayed at 2 other hotels (in Switzerland) around the same price range and this was our favorite hotel. It was the only hotel to offer free breakfast out of the 3 hotels we stayed at in Switzerland and the breakfast was so good and was a good jumpstart to our day. We missed Alpina’s breakfast after we checked out because it was good (compared to the standard continental breakfast in the US hotels). Breakfast consists of eggs any way you want, fresh breads, jams, croissants, waffles, cheese, cold cuts, falafel, samosas, quiche or sausage, muesli with fresh apples and blueberries, cucumber/tomato salad, fruits, spreads, olives, rosti (potatoes). View as soon as you walk out of hotel is so pretty and breathtaking (on a day of good weather).

Excellent location in front of lake. Richard was very pleasant, welcoming and made sure our stay was the best ever. Superb breakfast and personalized service. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again when in Switzerland. 5 stars !!!

he hotel is located right on the Brienz lake front. Richard and his family have so much eye for detail in making the rooms cozy and comfortable for the guests. They have put in effort to give the best experience right from the breakfast to the teabags and articles in the room. The hotel is a large wooden chalet type building and gives an old worldly feel. It is located in a quiet and pretty neighbourhood We had a wonderful time in Interlaken and would definitely highly recommend the hotel as aa place to stay.

We spent a superb weekend in this region. The hotel is ideally located and close to incredible sites that you absolutely must visit if you go through there.
The owner of the Alpina hotel is warm, attentive and available while being discreet and professional.
The view of the lake and the snow-capped mountains accompanied by a hearty breakfast will leave you with delicious memories.
This establishment is very well maintained, the room is clean and cozy.
We would have liked time to stop during our stay.
