Best personalized care you can expect, the staff is wonderful and always complacent. Dream Weddings by Mayan Princess is the best, you can always count on Miriam, Maoli and Valeri to do their best, an efficient crew that knows their job well and are always there to fulfil your every need, kudos to them all.

We had a terrible customer service experience. I went with friends from Honduras and I have never seen such a terrible customer service in Latin America. Staff is not friendly at all, they do not want to work, they barely look at you or smile when you ask for something. Regarding the room it all falls apart. Hardware: Filthy windows, broken light in living room, off-set television on wall, rusted and stained fixtures in bathroom. Rusted refrigerator in kitchen area. AC not working properly. Overall, if the food was good, the drinks are as bad as they can get and the price for this kind of hotel is def not worth it. I'd definitely not go back and highly suggest to try the competition. I regret very much spending my vacation there, again this is the worst experience I had in a hotel.

I am happy with everything offered, but there is always a but. Nothing can be perfect. Just a little concern, if it is possible to push a little farther the boats that are on the shore too close to the beach. When we swim, we can smell the gasoline burnt, smoke that comes from those boats. It is not safe. We are planning to go back this year. Thank you Mario

We arrived in the dark, checked in with 2 unfriendly girls who put our bracelets on and pointed us in the direction of our room, no offer to escort and as our bags hadnt been delivered yet we had to come back and get them and drag them up them up the stairs. absolutely no directions on safe so off we wenr back to the ladies for instructions, they just laughed and said it happens all the time ,so that would be a good idea to fix it or leave instruction.Room was extremely tiny that goodness for the tiny balcony,The rooms were clean as well as the pool we found it extremely annoying that the people from La Piacita Inn could walk over from their condos and claim all 10 lounge chairs and they are not even paying for this resort, a new pool should be constructed for them alone, Noone ever came to ask if you wanted a beverage, one day my husband went to get a drink and there was no bar tenders in sight so the manager Kenneth made one for us, he is a very nice man.Another very nice security man named Gerry greeted us evermorning with kind words. The locals are beautiful working so hard to make a buck The criuse people got special trearment , padded chairs and service Im sorry to say the meals were on the coolest side and I did not enjoy any of them! Beach was lovely, and snorkeling was the best we have any encountered. We will never come back to this resort Deb

We visited this resort in mid January and we did throughly enjoy it but there were small things that added up and prevented us from giving it more than 3 stars. First off our flight was delayed coming down (absolutely nothing to do with the resort) but when we arrived at the resort well after 10PM it was like they turned the lights out and went to bed. The young man at the front desk was dozing when we approached and he did manage to check us in and get our room keys and then sent us on our way in the dark to figure out where our room was with no help with luggage or directions. When asked if we could get a drink or something to eat we were told everything is closed at 10 PM and we couldn’t even get a bottle of water so that left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths. The resort grounds are beautiful as are the pools and we enjoyed this very much. The beach is gorgeous and lots of things to do if you have the inclination and the cash. One drawback are the vendors on the beach - say no and they move along but there is an unending supply of them so every 2 minutes you’re being asked to purchase something. Water is beautiful and warm though! The food was nothing special but certainly edible and there were a couple of very good dishes on a few of the nights. It’s a buffet but not in the true sense of the word as there are staff standing behind the counters serving you. There is an a la carte but we didn’t get there. There are multiple restaurants along the beach if you choose to eat away from the resort. The room we had was VERY small. Probably the smallest room we’ve had at an all inclusive resort but it was perfectly suitable and it was clean. The staff were kind of hit and miss we found. Some were polite and chatty like David at Macao and others seemed indifferent to your presence so no one really went out of their way to provide service that garnered a tip. We tipped anyway but maybe not as much as we would have for better service. There is no entertainment whatsoever so bring your own!! If you’re looking to party and drink the whole time this is definitely not the place to do that. All in all we really liked Roatan and would return but we’d stay at a different resort next time.

Wow- what a great resort!! Everyone is very friendly and so helpful! The beach is fantastic and right there! Damara, the barista makes delicious coffees and often would bring our lattes over to us before we even had ordered them. The bartenders and wait staff were friendly and made (or served) any drink we requested.

Mayan Princess resort I’ve never stayed at an all inclusive resort. Meals were kinda crazy when first opened at the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner…wait an hour and it mellows out. Good and clean beach with comfortable lounge chairs. (Always available except while waiting for sunset). Plenty of umbrellas for shade…the sun gets way hot down here. The room is where this all falls apart. Hardware: Filthy windows, broken light in living room, off-set television on wall, rusted and stained fixtures in bathroom. Rusted refrigerator in kitchen area. Maybe time to shut it down and let maintenance do their thing. Positive: Staff exceeds facilities. Greeted by everyone all the time—room cleaners, beach boys, waitstaff, grounds keepers and front desk. Best I can do is 3 stars and that’s only because of staff. Otherwise it’d score only 2 stars.

We had a wonderful time, the service was excellent, the rooms were very nice and the food was very good as well. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Damara Bennett remembered my coffee order every time. I also had a mani/pedi at the salon with Jamma that is the best I've ever gotten. My husband was scuba diving everyday and we were able to arrange a tour through the resort for some of us who were not diving it was a very fun day visiting places on the island.

We chose Mayan Princess for the first week of our Roatan SCUBA holiday. It did not disappoint. We were in Roatan to SCUBA with their on-premises dive shop. We had a 2nd floor room near the primary building (210). It was nearly an ideal room for SCUBA divers. Know where your room is before you book so there are no surprises. The room, bed and pillows were comfortable. The A/C worked well, and while I was initially skeptical of the wristband “key” system, that worked very well too. The beach was a close: <1 min walk from our room (the dive shop was closer!). We enjoyed our post dinner evenings on our private balcony (which had plenty of space and a hook for a drying line for gear). The buffet was just OK, nothing exceptional. But the restaurant dinners were fantastic – but they require daily reservations before 2pm. The open bar was great, we never wanted for an adult beverage or something to eat or snack on. The staff was super friendly, but many were new to Mayan Princess and quite a few do not speak English very well. But, they always tried and were very helpful. The cleaning staff and grounds crew were exception! The entire resort is super clean and safe. The pool is cool and inviting. It’s a great resort for Roatan!
