"Room: Booked the sea view room and the view was great albeit the sea view itself is at an angle but that's just how the resort is positioned. The room had all the basic amenities needed. TV was a Smart TV with Netflix / Prime / YouTube etc. Cleanliness could be improved as there were some dead insects under the bed - only noticed this a few moments prior to checkout so it otherwise didn't affect my stay but still, thorough housekeeping is a must. As others have mentioned in reviews, the rooms get very humid for some reason (something to do with the AC). Was not a big deal for us but if you are spending a whole day getting wet in the pool or at the beach - don't expect to come back to a dry room. Location: Located on an inner road just off the main Ao Nang street, super convenient. 5 mins walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants around for all diets and a 7E right across the road. Couldn't ask for more. Breakfast: The buffet was decent, usual fare for buffet breakfasts. The pastries were particularly good (croissants hot out of the oven are a must). The buffet runs until 11AM so it's well suited for slower mornings. Check in / Check out: Very smooth - no hiccups. Gave us a welcome drink while preparing our keycards for check in. Receptionist was warm with plenty of smiles. Check-out was just a keycard dropoff, as simple as can be. Overall: Would definitely recommend this place due to its location, views and relatively affordable prices. Minus half a star for the humidity in the rooms and the cleanliness."

"Golden Beach Resort was far above my expectations. I paid a budget price but what I got was a very high level experience. The hotel is situated on the beach and has an amazing pool. The breakfast is also above average. I would definitely come back."

"I love how clean big & comfy this hotel is.. the calmness & beautiful mountain surrounded by beautiful lush garden,the breakfast is good and all halal.. this is a plus for a Muslim travelers like us.. so delicious breakfast..and you can also oder food from the cafe,its also halal..we tried the pizza,its also delicious.. they have gym with sauna & foot massage, a little kids club 🥰 I hope you can add on a little more activity like a pool table,ping pong & several games for adults in floor 2 lobby area since its so big but only filled with chairs without people actually using this space.. overall recommended & will come back again.. staff is friendly 💝"

"Absolutely fantastic. Everything was perfect. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds. Every room fronts onto the lake. The room was large and very nicely decorated. The quality is high. Lovely staff, and a huge pool. Breakfast had a good selection of more than enough. The hotel has a free shuttle to Ao Nang. If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax only ten minutes from Ao Nang, this is the place. No alcohol is served in the hotel, but you can bring your own. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend."

"We had a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Resort, Ao Nang! The staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout our trip. The highlight was definitely the awesome view of the Ao Nang cliff from our room balcony, absolutely stunning!  If there’s one small suggestion, it would be to have a bit more Muslim-friendly options on the breakfast menu. Other than that, everything was totally awesome. Would love to come back!"

"The place is in a lovely spot amongst the karsts. Lovely to sit by the pool and listen to the birds song in the forests. Ocean view but not a big beach. They offer a shuttle in to Ao Nang, which is nice. The staff were very helpful. "

We're already planning our next stay and can hardly wait to spend more time here. They were so helpful! They helped us book a ferry to Phi Phi Island and even recommended some activities at a discounted price. It made our trip so much more enjoyable."

"We booked the pool villa for 2 days, it was beautifully and luxurious. It's set on the little hill above the hotel, there's no lift to get to the villa, only steep stairs which didn't bother us, but could be challenging for elderly. The staff where the nicest, and breakfast was delicious. The only issue I would have is that the private pool in the villa wasn't very clean. There was some green mold ( see pictures)"

"The Hotel is very good to relax, we had a garden view with lots of green and it was perfect to shutting off all thoughts from Home/Work/Family and so on. It has a pleasant walking distance to the west and east beach ! Also they have an every 2 hour Tuk Tuk to pick you up from the beaches or to the beaches ! By Request, they also drive you there out of schedule which was really nice, but as I said the two Beaches are not that far to walk by. The Pool is clean and has a small cute snack & cocktailbar with a big veranda as well. the Prices are very affordable for a Hotel and the Breakfast are good as well, changing 2-3 Menus everyday but the standad Ham, Toast, Pancake, scrambled Eggs are fixed ofc ! really delicious"
