We loved that the hotel is located in the perimeter of the old town, in a quiet and private location. The owner was very helpful with our questions. The hotel was perfect for our family, spacious room and our son was happy to have his own room. The old city is one block away and the path is lush and gorgeous along the whipping willows. Gorgeous!

Exceptional all round. Very friendly owner and great service. Helpful with taxis and breakfast (Chinese style only but tasty). Very high standard all round. Would highly recommend.

The hostess is very welcoming and feels like coming home. You can watch the sunrise from the room. The price/performance ratio is very good. I will stay here again in the future.

Super good B&B. There is a parking space in the B&B. The location is just right. It is a 5-minute walk to the center of the ancient town. The room is comfortable and smart. The yard is very well decorated. There are flowers and fish. You can drink tea and enjoy the fish. The boss Ouyang is a Shaxi local. The people are very nice, very enthusiastic, and responsive to all requests. I have been running a B&B for nearly 20 years. The restaurants recommended are delicious and affordable. I have recommended them to many friends and will come again if I have the opportunity! Five-star recommendation!
