Jianyang Hotels with Gym

"Chose Holiday Inn because it was one of few hotels in Changdu to offer Non-Smoking Rooms. And the guaranteed 1600 check out time since our flight ETD was 1825. Alas the experience is less than stellar. First was the weird request to reserve the free airport pick up at least 2hrs in advance! Luckily, I asked our guide to do the reservation and he told us to meet the shuttle at T1 4F door 21 around 1825. The shuttle did arrive at 1828. The check in lady spoke good English, honoured our 1600 late checkout, advised and booked us to depart the hotel on their 1500 shuttle upon hearing our international flight was 1825. Room is pretty standard for 4 star Chinese hotels - with a dizzying array of switches and the usual modern looking shower with impractical features - no place to put your towels within easy reach while showering. It is not the worst though. Hotel is in a cluster of hotels around a 'food street' that was pretty sad state with little food and dining traffic. We opted to eat at the food stalls set up just across the road from the hotel. Hotel breakfast did have some western food but NO butter in the toast bread section! Due to it's distant location, we opted not to take a 2h public transport to Chengdu central but went to the central of the Jianyang satellite town that the hotel was in. Took 30min and 2 CNY pax. The other difficulty was trying to get back to hotel. The hotel doesn't show up in Amap or Didi app! Luckily, Amap does have the next door Ji Hotel which worked to guide us back."

"Spacious and new nice hotel. Good breakfast. Comfy beds. Convenient for transit. Few min walk to checkin counter at T1. One con is that the hotel is on central air conditioning system. Too hot for us."

"This is the largest hotel I have ever stayed in. It has a Chinese restaurant, hot pot, noodle shop, cultural and creative store, and supermarket. The environment is quiet. I came here with my kids to participate in the competition. There were many students from other schools coming in buses, but I didn't feel crowded. The accommodation is divided into many areas, and several houses in each area form a yard, so it is not noisy at all. The breakfast is very rich, and the gym is also very large. In addition to fitness equipment, there are also table tennis tables and billiard tables. I will stay here if I catch the early bus in the future."

"Advantages: The room is large, the bedding is comfortable and soft, the service attitude is very good, there are freshly cooked noodles and hot and sour noodles for breakfast, and the lettuce in the hot dishes is very delicious. The TV in the room can be projected. The three-part bathroom is very convenient, and the amount of water for bathing is very large. Disadvantages: Airport transfer takes a lot of time. I got off the plane at 6:30 on May 29; I arrived at Gate 23 at 19:15 and started waiting for the bus; The bus arrived at the airport pick-up point at 19:40, and the driver helped to place the luggage when getting on the bus; The bus left at 20:00; Arrived at the hotel at 20:30; I checked in and entered the room at 20:45. It took a full hour and a half from waiting for the bus to entering the room. The height and angle of the shower head bracket in my room cannot be adjusted. Because the water pressure is high, the bath water will spray onto the opposite wall at an angle parallel to the ground, and I can only hold the shower head with one hand to take a bath. The overhead shower was blocked, and water was sprayed in all directions, and each water column was thin and scattered. Because it was late when I took a shower and my luggage was spread out, I didn't go to the hotel front desk. In general, although the hotel has some inconveniences, the price is cheap, so the cost performance is high."

"Hotel room is spacious. Everything else is good except that the bathroom leaks after shower. The water leaks into toilet & also to the exterior to the vanity top area. Just 15-20mins from airport. Free shuttle to & fro airport is a plus point. Breakfast spread is pretty good."

"The hotel was clean, and near TFU airport. The staffs were supportive even though we checked in late at midnight, and they don’t speak English really well. We need to use translate app to talk to receptionist. Overall is great choice to rest after flight to Chengdu 😇"

"A sparkling new hotel, the room is very clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. Across the street is Sancha subway station. The service at the front desk was very good too, especially Sherry Li. She gave us a free breakfast voucher and also help my wife print out a paper document."

"The Comfort Travel Hotel under Accor is in a good location, not far from TOD, so it is very convenient to order takeout, especially Starbucks and other complex restaurants. There is also a special library in the east next to it, which is within walking distance. The hotel decoration is very distinctive, featuring pandas and coffee. Parking is convenient and you can get to the lobby as soon as you get off the car. We chose a loft room. House keeping helped us to give us extra quilts and pillows. With simple modifications, the sofa on the first floor can be converted into a big bed for the children, and the two adults can sleep on the second floor with peace of mind. Breakfast is definitely a highlight, 29.9 yuan for one more person. I recommend everyone to try the tan and wonton below, which is completely at the level of a store. Overall, it is a hotel worth staying in."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel more than I expected. It's not too far from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, compared to the city of Chengdu, and the location is not too remote or rural. In fact, it's in the town of Jianyang, which has its own high speed rail station. I arrived late, almost midnight, and the hotel still provided a bus to pick up from the airport at Gate 13 on the departure floor. I recommend you ask for their WeChat in advance so you could arrange the pickup with them. The bus dropped off people at different hotels along the way before it reached Jianyang, but it didn't take long. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast (Chinese, salad, bread, soups - noodles or wontons/dumplings, juices, coffee, fruit) is better than I expected in terms of variety and taste. The kitchen ladies were very kind and helpful, even when I can't speak Chinese. The staff - front desk and doorman - were also caring and helpful. Obviously, the hotel trained their staff well. FYI. The hotel is great for those who arrive late and want a comfortable place to sleep for a night before moving on. Jianyang South Railway Station is less than 10 minutes away, and is just one high speed railway station from Chengdu (20 minutes). I highly recommend this hotel."

"New modern hotel near airport that accept foreign tourists. Staffs are helpful & friendly. Need to confirm the shuttle bus with reception for pick up or departure, if you miss the time must re-call. Room is clean and spacious for family or 3 pax. Bed very comfortable. There's usb ports for charging, so convenient. Water pressure strong and water hot enough during winter. We didn't manage to take breakfast, but reception provide simple take away breakfast. There are stalls opposite the road for dinner. Hotel also have a small convience store. Since its a new location, not much place to walk around."
