4-Star Hotels in Jianyang

"Chose Holiday Inn because it was one of few hotels in Changdu to offer Non-Smoking Rooms. And the guaranteed 1600 check out time since our flight ETD was 1825. Alas the experience is less than stellar. First was the weird request to reserve the free airport pick up at least 2hrs in advance! Luckily, I asked our guide to do the reservation and he told us to meet the shuttle at T1 4F door 21 around 1825. The shuttle did arrive at 1828. The check in lady spoke good English, honoured our 1600 late checkout, advised and booked us to depart the hotel on their 1500 shuttle upon hearing our international flight was 1825. Room is pretty standard for 4 star Chinese hotels - with a dizzying array of switches and the usual modern looking shower with impractical features - no place to put your towels within easy reach while showering. It is not the worst though. Hotel is in a cluster of hotels around a 'food street' that was pretty sad state with little food and dining traffic. We opted to eat at the food stalls set up just across the road from the hotel. Hotel breakfast did have some western food but NO butter in the toast bread section! Due to it's distant location, we opted not to take a 2h public transport to Chengdu central but went to the central of the Jianyang satellite town that the hotel was in. Took 30min and 2 CNY pax. The other difficulty was trying to get back to hotel. The hotel doesn't show up in Amap or Didi app! Luckily, Amap does have the next door Ji Hotel which worked to guide us back."

"Very close to the airport. Comfortable rooms. There was a strange smell in the hotel. The staff were very helpful and helped to organise a shuttle bus to the airport very early in the morning. They even gave us a wake up call to make sure we were ready on time. There were a couple of very good restaurants within walking distance too. I recommend it for people that need to be near an airport."

The front desk staff including Li Xia, Li Yan, Wang Fei, Wang Kai, Tian Wenyi, Zhou Hongwei, Yu Jianwen, Fang Fang, Xu Qin, Liu Yusi, etc. were very patient and meticulous. Next time I come, I will recommend my friends to book this brand of hotel. Breakfast time is 07:00-10:00. If you have purchased breakfast, you can just swipe your room card to eat at the restaurant. Parking is free, and you don’t need to enter your license plate number, you can just drive out, which is very convenient; It is about 2 kilometers away from the main venue of the Expo, a 25-minute walk, or an 8-10-minute taxi ride. It is about 600 meters away from the subway entrance and there is a shuttle bus directly to the venue, which is very convenient. The room is very exquisite, the bathroom decoration is very comfortable, and there is an alarm clock with unlimited charging sockets. Thumbs up It is a brand hotel under Ascott Singapore. The decoration style is elegant and the color matching is very beautiful. The light and shadow effect of the lobby is the highlight. Suggestion: Improve air conditioning maintenance, the room is not soundproofed."

The TV in the room can be projected. The three-part bathroom is very convenient, and the amount of water for bathing is very large. Disadvantages: Airport transfer takes a lot of time. I got off the plane at 6:30 on May 29; I arrived at Gate 23 at 19:15 and started waiting for the bus; The bus arrived at the airport pick-up point at 19:40, and the driver helped to place the luggage when getting on the bus; The bus left at 20:00; Arrived at the hotel at 20:30; I checked in and entered the room at 20:45. It took a full hour and a half from waiting for the bus to entering the room. The height and angle of the shower head bracket in my room cannot be adjusted. Because the water pressure is high, the bath water will spray onto the opposite wall at an angle parallel to the ground, and I can only hold the shower head with one hand to take a bath. The overhead shower was blocked, and water was sprayed in all directions, and each water column was thin and scattered. Because it was late when I took a shower and my luggage was spread out, I didn't go to the hotel front desk. In general, although the hotel has some inconveniences, the price is cheap, so the cost performance is high."

"Beautiful hotel! There are several buildings and courtyards, with coffee shops here and there. There is an express-check-out box in case guests are running late and do not have time to go to the reception. The hotel is located around 15 minutes away from Chengdu Tianfu Airport and has a free shuttle bus that takes you there or picks you up from the airport itself. I definitely recommend to stay there if you have to spend a night near the airport."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel more than I expected. It's not too far from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, compared to the city of Chengdu, and the location is not too remote or rural. In fact, it's in the town of Jianyang, which has its own high speed rail station. I arrived late, almost midnight, and the hotel still provided a bus to pick up from the airport at Gate 13 on the departure floor. I recommend you ask for their WeChat in advance so you could arrange the pickup with them. The bus dropped off people at different hotels along the way before it reached Jianyang, but it didn't take long. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast (Chinese, salad, bread, soups - noodles or wontons/dumplings, juices, coffee, fruit) is better than I expected in terms of variety and taste. The kitchen ladies were very kind and helpful, even when I can't speak Chinese. The staff - front desk and doorman - were also caring and helpful. Obviously, the hotel trained their staff well. FYI. The hotel is great for those who arrive late and want a comfortable place to sleep for a night before moving on. Jianyang South Railway Station is less than 10 minutes away, and is just one high speed railway station from Chengdu (20 minutes). I highly recommend this hotel."

"I ended up having to do a one light layover.This hotel was beautiful in the online photos good reviews.And I chose it because it because of that and tje airport airport shuttle. Upon arrival, I called for the shuttle bus within 20 minutes.It had arrived at the exit thirteen of the international Arrivals hall of the airport. I will say it does take about 30 minutes on the shuttle bus to get to the hotel, but once you arrive, it's a very well laid out room even for a smaller size room with lovely finishings. On arrival I received a box of milk and bread which I didn't really want but I was very grateful for the consideration. I did see a gym on the property, but I was too tired to go to it.The layout of the property is very nice. And I love the garden in the front of the office very nice"
