Holiday Inn Express (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area)

The location is very good as it is just a short walk from the Juizhaigou visitor centre which is also the entrance to the scenic site. You will not need to join the long queue for public and private transport back to your hotel nearby. Beside, they is a massive traffic jam in the morning opening time and evening when everyone exit the scenic site. The hotel overall is good with a general breakfast spread catering to none China local tourist. The rest is what you would expect of a hotel. The hotel towels is a bit soft and none absorbent for our liking.

The room toilet water leveling is bad. Water does not drain and I am literally standing in my shower waste water while showering. When I called room service, they basically said there was not much that can be done as it is structural. Then why did they even let the room out? To be fair, they offered me a room change.

Very good location hotel, just next to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou (only short walk around 3-400 m.). There's Mcdonald in front of the hotel.

Located near to jiu zhai gou park entrance, was allowed to check in early, breakfast was nice too!

Terrible room. Very poor air ventilation, our king size room with mountain view was turned into a smoking room upon returned. Front desk denied that and gave us a disinfectant spray as a solution. In the end, we relied on Trip dot com to change to another room for us. Room was of poor quality for the 600-700+ rmb per night, and a complete nightmare when we stayed for two. Will not recommend. No greeting, no apology from the manger whatsoever, very aloof for being a tourist site hotel.

This hotel is very near to Jiuzhaigou national park. There’s a McDonald’s fast food restaurant just at the entrance of the hotel as well as a convenience shop. A further walk a stone throw away, you can find other eateries too. Great hotel to stay at when visiting jiuzhaigou. Hotel also help hold luggage when we check out in the morning for our Jiuzhaigou National park visit. There’s a good variety for the free buffet breakfast. Recommended 👍
