"Hampton by Hilton is still the reliable choice. It's super close to the scenic spot's entrance, within walking distance. The bus is also very convenient, with the Zangwang Yanwu bus stop right at the doorstep. What's worth mentioning is that the breakfast here is better than other Hampton by Hilton hotels. Besides the standard Hampton by Hilton offerings, they also have特色青稞饼 (distinctive highland barley pancakes) and yak noodles. The yak noodles are amazing! They taste just as good as what you'd find outside. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance."

JI Hotel(Jiuzhaigou Visitor Center）

"I checked into the Ji Hotel (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area Tourist Center store) around 7:40 PM on June 21st. Upon arrival, the front desk staff repeatedly asked if I was checking in with the previous guest. Once I got to the room, there was a noticeable black stain on the mirror by the door. It came off easily when I lightly scraped it with my finger, which immediately raised concerns about the hotel's cleanliness. I then picked up the toiletries cups next to the mirror and found obvious condensation at the bottom of one cup, but not the other, making me suspect the hotel wasn't properly checking or replacing the cups. Subsequently, I also found clear water stains next to the electric kettle and a significant amount of dust accumulated at the bottom of the cups. There were numerous white spots in front of the mirror. I immediately called the front desk to address these issues. The front desk staff came up to understand the situation and then contacted the lobby manager to handle it. The lobby manager apologized and offered to help me change rooms. I waited in the room for 20 minutes while they checked a new room. The lobby manager assured me the new room would have no problems. By this time, it was around 8:30 PM. As I was about to leave for dinner, I noticed obvious black stains and unidentified hairs on the bathroom floor. I informed the lobby manager about the situation when I went downstairs for dinner, and she said they could clean the room after I returned. When I got back, no one had come to clean the room, and I had to get up early the next day for sightseeing. I decided to just make do for one night and get some rest for my trip. However, when I lay in bed and turned off the air conditioning, exhaust fan, and all other devices, there was still a loud continuous noise in the room. I tried to fall asleep multiple times but failed. I reported the situation to Trip.com, but it was already very late, and changing rooms again would mean packing all my luggage. I had no choice but to put up with it. In the end, I only slept for 3 hours that night. In the morning, I informed the lobby manager, and she was very apologetic and immediately relayed my feedback, continuously expressing her apologies. Later, as I was rushing to catch my bus, a hotel assistant called me to address the issues, but their attitude was very poor. They kept saying these were minor hygiene issues and asked for my understanding, showing no real willingness to resolve the problem. They initially offered a 30% discount on the room rate, then changed it to 50%. They did not offer any solution that respected my concerns about the obvious hygiene issues and noise problems in both rooms. Your compensation did not make me feel respected at all; in fact, the assistant's attitude made the situation even worse. I don't understand why a new hotel that has only been open for a month would have such obvious hygiene issues, especially when the cleaning staff's piece-rate wages are supposedly higher than those in hotels in the same area. I also don't understand why the noticeable noise problem, which should have been detected during pre-opening inspections, wasn't resolved even when guests checked in. This does not align with my impression of the Ji Hotel brand. Your attitude and proposed solutions did not make me feel respected at all, and your so-called compensation did not make up for my lack of sleep or my concerns about hygiene. I ended up touring the beautiful scenery of Jiuzhaigou the next day feeling exhausted. If your hotel and brand continue to disregard their hygiene and hardware conditions, and the experience of their guests, then I can only wish other prospective guests good luck and hope they are the fortunate ones who don't encounter any problems."
