The Parktonian All Suite Hotel Reviews

This hotel is foul everything about it, to my surprise a day after my arrival the cleaner stole my wallet with 600$ with my credit cards my ID and other valuables in it, I was shocked because I was just out for a business meeting during the day, came back and it was gone! What shocked me the most was when they opened the book of investigation I saw a lot of complaints I was like oh it’s a thing here perhaps, I was in a rush coming to Johannesburg I wouldn’t have booked it never read the reviews for the first time before paying for it and it’s a very dangerous neighborhood do not try going out from 6pm you might be robbed, the staffs are so angry and they lacked manners very disrespectful other than some 2 old ladies that was so nice we met in the elevator, please guys do not even for a $ near this particular, as a tourist the safest place for us travelers should be inside our hotel room unlike this one please do not near this Anew hotel in bramfrontaine it’s foul.

The water was cold when we got there and towels missing they promised to bring but never came back.

Easily merits its 5 stars. Sadly, not busy in June. Windows need replacing in next refit

Really big rooms, but in a very dangerous looking neighborhood. Close to other nice places. Cold showers, but gym was very nice.

I recently stayed at a Anew hotel. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was not safe at night. Not suitable for family travelers.

Great hotel. The room was massive, it’s in the city center but felt safe inside. The food was amazing.

Breakfast food is great. Room is large and clean, but very old. Gym are large but no people there. They turned on very lound and noisy music though.

The New Hotel Parktonian is located in the Bramfontein district in the center of Johannesburg. Although this area is considered safe in the travel advice on the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, the direct surroundings of the hotel leave something to be desired. I do not recommend taking the Gautrain to Park and then walking. It is better to call an Uber or an inDriver (cheaper) from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is very large and safe, a security guard opens the gates when a car arrives, not just anyone enters this hotel. The room is very spacious, it is a suite with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a sofa, a flat screen TV and a kettle with tea and coffee available. The bathroom is adequate although the shower head did not work very well. There are free toiletries, clean towels and a hairdryer. I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is located in the old town of Johannesburg. The surrounding area is quite messy. I don't dare to go out alone during the day. We dragged three large suitcases to check in, and the staff at the door would not take the initiative to help you with your luggage. The room is large, similar to the structure of an apartment, the carpet is quite dirty, and there is nothing to eat for breakfast. The only advantage is that it is close to the exhibition hall. I will not stay here again.
