the location is excellent, right in the middle of everything, a lot of kyoto attractions are within walking distance. just a few step from hankyo line station connecting to arashiyama and osaka umeda.
breakfast set meal is excellent, highly recommended.
the public bath comes in handy after along walks day.
the coffee stand right across the street in front of the hotel offer selection of very good coffee.
the temple vibe of the hotel is quite interesting, one of a kind experience.

Overall, I really liked the hotel!
The location is super convenient — close to everywhere we wanted to go. The room was clean and the design was minimal but stylish, which I really loved. They also have a relaxing bath house, which was a nice bonus. One of my favorite things was that the TV in the room could connect directly to my phone — so convenient!
However, there was one issue.
My friend lost a necklace, and it felt like the staff didn’t communicate well with each other. It seemed like no proper report or message was passed on, because every time we asked, we had to explain everything from the beginning. That was a bit frustrating.
I really hope the necklace is found — please contact us as soon as possible if it is!

Helpful staff, great location, enjoyed the amenities especially the onsen. Please note you must request non-smoking room otherwise you may end up on the smoking floor. The staff were super helpful in accommodating our request and also locating a lost item.

Good Price, good Equipment, employees really helpful and polite. Positiv to mention is also having an onsen. Only sheetcovers quality could get improved (to warm)

Best hotel we stayed in Japan. The room is super spacious knowing that the standard room size in Japan is quite small. Staffs are very helpful and attentive. Best location, nearby train stations, shops and restaurant. Very safe.
