Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo

I got upgraded from the South Tower to the Main Building! The room was quite spacious and looked very new, probably renovated in recent years. It's really close to the station, and the surrounding amenities are excellent. I'd recommend arriving a bit early so you can check out the nearby shopping centers – I think there are two large ones, a shopper's paradise! There are plenty of places to eat nearby in the evening, and you can even find a few spots for a late-night snack. We were on a high floor, so we had a direct view of Tokyo Tower 🗼 from our window. The stickers they provided were pretty amusing too 😂

My stay here was excellent. The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Kyoto Station, making it easy to find places to eat, shop, and get around. The front desk staff were very welcoming and efficient during check-in, and they were quick to help with any issues. The room itself was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I got a great night's sleep. The bathroom was odor-free, and the air conditioning and other facilities worked perfectly. The hotel's public areas were also very clean and well-equipped.

An absolutely fantastic room! It's super close to Kyoto Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The front desk service was warm and attentive. The room was spacious enough to open two suitcases side-by-side, which is quite roomy for Japan. The iron in the room was a huge plus for me, as I brought many dresses that needed ironing during my two-week trip to Japan. Housekeeping was prompt; they'd practically clean the room immediately after I put out the 'please clean' sign. On top of that, it was very quiet. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Great value for money too.

An absolutely fantastic hotel! Having traveled all over the world, I can confidently say this hotel offers incredible value for money, convenience, peacefulness, and practicality – truly top-notch. I hear it's the hotel with the most rooms in Kyoto, which likely contributes to its competitive pricing. It's located right across from Kyoto Station, and I imagine there are plenty of bus options, plus taxi drivers all seem to know it. The room amenities are excellent, with a coffee machine, ironing board, and safe all readily available.

This is my third stay here, and I keep coming back because the hotel's location is fantastic. It's really close to Kyoto Station, which makes getting around by bus or train super convenient. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby too. The rooms are always clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be staying here again!
