Fabulous spa retreat! Perfect for a relaxing getaway in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next stay where we will also bring more friends!

Upon arrival was met with friendly staff. The room was very cosy with a log fire if needed. Bed very comfortable and nice pillows. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Our rooms were located near main reception and restaurants so not far to walk,as I don’t think I would have liked to be up higher to many steps. Would we go back yes definitely.

The hotel lacks up keep. Cleanliness and maintenane need significant improvement, we expected better especially for an award winning hotel. As for the food it was good overall, however, we noticed that desserts such as cakes were very dry.

The Hotel is nestled in a beautiful valley with amazing views in all directions. Its unique style of being part of a traditional Cypriot village, with rooms in difference locations is incredible. The immediate feel of contentment, relaxation and happiness on arrival is almost without comparison. We arrived early for lunch and chose the Bryantino Cypriot restaurant; there are three other dining options. The food was superb with an excellent range of dishes. Portion sizes are good and the fresh produce was particularly welcome. Our waitress was delightful, sorry we did not get her name, and this was a great start to our stay. The Reception Team is very pleasant and all formalities are completed with no fuss with the emphasis on welcoming you to the village. We were escorted to our suite which was well appointed, warm, welcoming and very well maintained. A large balcony and small touches like a fruit plate and complimentary room bar added to the feeling of luxury. We experienced the Byzantine cafe that evening, again with excellent food and service. The village is wonderful to explore and its residents maintain the feeling that they take pleasure in welcoming you. A trip to Marathasa winery is a must with incredible views and, when we visited, three wonderful members of staff that really made the visit even more special. Do enjoy a wine flight overlooking the valley, and take some bottles away with you! The Hotel spa is very special with lots of facilities, again all very clean and well maintained. A relaxing two hours was spent here on both days and next time a treatment will be enjoyed. Dinner at Loutraki is an amazing experience, one of our best on the island. Makis is a warm and welcoming member of the Team as are the incredible chefs. The menu has elements of fusion which combined with fine local ingredients make this a world class dining experience. The theme of wonderful food is a constant at the hotel and the Executive chef and his team deserve enormous credit. The Breakfast service offers a great variety of dishes and again, wonderful friendly and attentive staff. in conclusion, what an amazing hotel with great facilities, superb dining options situated in beautiful village which makes you feel so welcome. We have already booked to return, a longer stay next time!

This is the second time we have stayed here. It’s a lovely hotel and beautiful setting. It’s quaint and quiet. I did feel short changed on some things, we booked to have massages and had to pay to use the spa facilities which I think is unreasonable. We were also due an upgrade with our ******* arrangement and they “upgraded us to a room closer to the vicinity”, this to me isn’t a room upgrade, I would understand if they were busy but they were not. They also put us in a room next door to a noisy family, appreciate that they do not know how noisy people will be. But a couple are best placed away from families where children are likely to cause disturbance. These issues aside, a nice place.

We found it on TA and very happy we made our way to the Casale. The staff is excellent and they provide a great welcome and service. It is a great community and you feel you really contribute to it. They have a number of rooms spread over the village and they offer a ride in the golf carts when the lift is closed. The rooms have been refurbished in a very energy efficient way and there is no single use plastic. We enjoyed our two night there. It is a pity that the room description (including the location) did not match what we were assigned as we chose one type of room to be close to the main area but were allocated a room at the top of the village. This is not terrible but it would be better to match the expectations. I decided not to use the spa as the trip up and down the village would have spoiled my experience. The bed was quite small too, which is also a pity as a bigger one would have made our rest much better.
