getting to the hotel is a small chore, but you are rewarded with a decent view. The hotel, isn't really a hotel. So i found it a little hard to find. Because it's a house that's been converted. The rooms are a decent size, well decorated and offer great views of Kandy. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It feels very chilled when sit out on your own private terrace. I'm not entirely sure that the hotel is worth it's high price though. hmmm, well given the price of the room. you only get one towel, what's that about! But the thing that stung and led me to leave a low mark was the food. You're kind of a captive audience and the hotel know it, given it's location up in the hills. The hotel offered a set dinner menu for LKR6000 ($20) per person. The usual price of a decent sized dinner is about LKR2000 per person. So how was dinner you ask.. well, and when I tell you, I'm not joking in the slightest when i tell you what I was served. so the d'oeuvres - A slice of white bread cut into the shape of a heart, on top of this romantically shaped bread. Three mini Ritz crackers (seriously) with cream cheese on top. Then a small salad in a cocktail glass which was ok. followed by Heinz tomato soup. followed by some oven made, veggie burgers, with some creamy veg, which was clearly from a packet. I was actually laughing when they were serving me these dishes, making it out to be something really posh. So please hotel, bear in mind that you would have got a much higher score if you hadn't charged me and the other guests that were staying there $20 for something that was clearly worth $2. Ritz crackers! haha are you seriously joking with that.

New hotel. Very modern. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The view of the city is amazing. The food is excellent. Lovely staff. The owners of the place are nice and very helpful in everything. Highly highly recommended A bit far from the city center but the hotel takes care of transportation

We stayed in Summit for couple of days and this hotel is in a beautiful location. It’s very modern and our room was spacious and had a lovely balcony, I loved the unobstructed view of the whole Kandy city and entire Hunnas mountain range. The view was just breathtaking. The food was delicious as they had a superb in-house chef who does a great job. The staff was well mannered and the service provided to us was of the utmost quality. Each request is handled promptly and adequately.Over all me and my partner had a fantastic stay at the Summit as the purpose of our visit was to get out of this busy life in the city and relax and Summit went beyond our expectation and served the purpose. We will definitely visit this place again.

This is a cosy, charming & friendly place in the hill capital Kandy. Just a short drive from the city centre, it's nested on one side of Hanthana, overlooking the city. The rooms have lovely interior decoration with simple, but matching colours. I personally like the fact that the wardrobe is not in the same space as the bedroom, but tucked away to a side. But the most eye catching thing of the place is most certainly the stunning view from the balcony. Be it day or night, it's simply picteresque & breathtaking. The hotel also has a lovely terrace all the way at the top (which is also where the bar is) where you can relax with a drink or snacks. A special mention to the manager of the establishment Mr. Fuard, who helped us customise our stay as per our wishes & was extremely accommodating from the point we arrived. Not forgetting the friendly staff & the kitchen, which produced some tasty meals throughout our stay. I recommend you go sooner rather than later, before the place gets popular & starts getting booked. I'm already looking forward to my next visit :)

Amazing views, great facilities, food is best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and the staff are amazing! Highly recommend to anybody passing through Kandy. Had traditional food platter that was delicious and the balcony from the room was a very nice touch

We had a lovely stay at The Summit. The staff was very friendly, the room was nice, clean and spacious, and had an incredible view. The food was actually some of the best we have had in Sri Lanka. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kandy.

This place has a great view and all the stuff members are very respectful. From the hotel windows you can city all kandy city. The owner gave us some tips which were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place who is visiting Kandy.
