"The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The staff were amazing, friendly, and always helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. A small tip for future guests — if you want the scenic view of the beautiful Kandy Lake, book the Superior Room, as the Deluxe Room faces the road. Also, take note that after 11:30 PM there is no room service, and food delivery platforms may not be available either due to closures or limited riders/drivers at night. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a great experience."

"I am giving a good rating here, but also want to be very fair and objective. This hotel definitely does not deserve full points, but I was forced to leave a 5/5 review on Tripadvisor the day I checked out, which I had since deleted. While I understand that tourism is a big thing for Sri Lanka, this isn't the way to do business and it isn't fair if travellers get misinformed. Yes, the hotel is perched on a hill and is suitable for you if you prefer peace and quiet after a day in the city, but extended stays might get troublesome due to the winding, narrow hilly roads. There's an infinity pool with nature views but slippers are surely recommended because the changing room/bathroom is away from the pool. The room was also nice and comfy except that the air-con blew directly at the bed despite having adjusted the vane and fan speed. Definitely do not open the windows at night to prevent bugs from entering."

"The view was nice, the room was clean, good water pressure. The location is not so good if you want to eat outside the hotel or order an Uber, the pool had cold water, they didn’t accept Amex and the room service was very slow. Maybe a normal room is worth the money but a deluxe suite (room 402) is definitely not, especially when the view was altered due to renovation."

"It's located in a prime location overlooking Kandy. It's a converted private home, so the owners live downstairs and the guest rooms are upstairs. The spacious living room and balcony offer a comfortable stay. The lake is a 15-20 minute walk away... It's a bit of a climb, but the view is spectacular. The landlady is also very friendly. It's a great value for money!"
