The hotel room was fine but Laoluyin is really in the middle of nowhere and hardly anything was open at all. We had fortunately brought our own food. We came to hike the valley system that leads to Mount Gongga but when we arrived and went to check out the start of the trail, we found the trail was completely closed off to hikers. No reason given at all- but it looked like there was some serious (gas/coal/ or oil) exploration/work going on up the valley- so hikers be warned. Had we known, we would never have come.

Ing to hit Gongga trail. Owners seem to have not met

I booked an upgraded room, but when I got to the hotel, they refused to upgrade me. Later, they said they could only upgrade one room. I contacted the platform and it was not resolved. There were hairs all over the bed in the room. Maybe the previous guest had not cleaned it. The toilet in the bathroom was frozen. There was no place to go to the bathroom. Before I went, I asked the boss if I could go to the Yema Lake without anti-skid chains. The boss said yes. But when I set out at 6 o'clock in the morning, I found that the car could not be driven at all. I asked the boss for help but he did not answer the phone. Then I found a high-priced car online to go up.

Hot water, clean quilts, and impeccable hygiene are truly remarkable in such a high-altitude environment. The owner of this shop also offers excellent advice on outdoor activities like hiking and mushroom picking in Ledomanin. He can assist with all aspects of food, accommodation, and transportation. I'll definitely stay there again next time I circumambulate Mount Gongga.
