"We stayed at Intercity for our second night and regretted not choosing it for our first! First off, the decor is an Italian light luxury style, and the room was very clean and comfortably sized. The location is super convenient for getting around, especially since I was with my baby and a stroller – no hills to climb, and it's just steps away from the main square. Plus, the lady at the front desk was incredibly nice and gave my baby lots of little gifts. For a place like Kangding, which is notorious for traffic and difficult parking, the hotel's underground parking was also very convenient. All in all, it was a highly satisfying stay! If you're coming to Kangding, don't bother with guesthouses, just book this hotel! We'll definitely choose Intercity again next time! It would be even better if they offered baby bed rails!"

"Pros: This hotel opened this year and is a well-known mid-range chain. All amenities are standard, the rooms have diffused oxygen, and the breakfast is pretty good for western Sichuan. Thanks to the handsome receptionist for bringing breakfast to the kids... Complaints: After eating hot pot that night, it was incredibly hot walking back to the hotel room, and the air conditioner wouldn't cool down. I called the front desk, but the response was prompt, but the receptionist couldn't help. We changed rooms, but still no cooling, and there was no fan... As a result, my family was kept awake the first half of the night by the heat, and only slept a few hours when the temperature cooled down in the second half. The next day, we were completely sleepy after a seven-hour drive."
