The hotel facilities are relatively new, though the tap water is yellowish when it first comes out, but everything else is good. The front desk lady, Xiao Du, was warm and attentive, recommending nearby restaurants. We had Tian Liangfen, which was delicious, with a nice spicy chili pepper. We arrived too late to try the Kangjie Steamed Dumplings restaurant, a time-honored restaurant. We also checked out the restaurant and bar, like Li Xian, and the yak beef quilt was delicious [grin]. The seasoning of the beef cubes wasn't particularly impressive, and the desserts were just tasteful. The stir-fried vegetables were good, and the location was great for people-watching.
