The staff are warm and friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city with easy reach of several worthwhile day trips such as: 1. Garden of Dreams: 10 mins walk from the hotel 2. Swyambhunath Temple aka Monkey Temple: 45 mins walk from the hotel 3. Kathmandu Durbar Square: One of the UNESCO heritage site where you will see palaces - 20 mins walk from the hotel.

Great first time staying in Nepal, air conditioned rooms, clean and comfortable. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Exchange Rate also very competitive. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy Nepal again. Very close to local shops and restaurants.

We 9 of us went to Mt Kailash through Holy Himalaya and also stayed at Hotel Holy Himalaya, good hotel, good food, good service, good planning and organizing. Definitely we will recommend this Hotel and Tour. Tour guides also friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks a lot

We had a great stay at Hotel Holy Himalaya. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms are clean with a good, hot shower. The food is also great, and the water refill station is helpful so you don't have to worry about plastic bottles. It's a great base for mountain trekking or exploring the Thamel neighbourhood of Kathmandu. There is a good massage spa next door, and try Gaia restaurant for dinner (50m)

Recently stayed at this Hotel pre and post trekking trip, could not fault anything about it, rooms very clean, lovely relaxed foyer area, bar, excellent breakfast with our friendly lady giving you the best coffee in Katmandu. In area that’s a excellent location for the sights of Katmandu.

I often stay at Hotel Holy Himalaya, conveniently located in Thamel. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the staff are super friendly and offer excellent service, and there is good free WIFI in rooms and throughout the hotel. Their dining area serves a fabulous complimentary breakfast, including freshly made Expresso coffee. They have 24 hour hot drinks & hot water for guests. You can refill your water bottles with quality clean drinking water anytime, Yay! no plastic bottles. Money exchange at a good rate is conveniently available at reception. Thanks guys, looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Donna

Excellent service at the hotel by all staff. Very clean and comfortable. Would like to stay there once once again when I come back to Katmandu. Very friendly staff, always helpful. Coffee and tea at our beck and call, after 6:30am. And complementary water bottles as well!

The Hotel Holy Himalaya did its job - gave us a warm comfortable place to stay at the beginning and end of our journey in Nepal. The rooms were clean and the staff was wonderful. The staff picked us from the airport and arranged transportation back. Breakfast was fine and we didn't have any other meals during our stay. The rooms were quite large.
