I had the most amazing stay at Karjalan Helmi. I was welcomed like family and felt at home. The apartment was very spacious, cozy and equipped with everything I needed. The grounds were beautifully kept and embodied pure Finnish nature. My apartment was just steps from Lake Orivesi, which was so serene and calming, exactly what I needed for my getaway. I will definitely be visiting my new friends there again soon!

I was lucky enough to have a chalet to myself. So you have a good sized kitchen and living room area and then upstairs the bedroom. I enjoyed my one night as the views down by the lake were lovely and how much space i had to run around. The only negative would be that there was no offer of breakfast. But apart from that it's a great little place to stay.
