Immaculate Vibes at the Smith Hotel! My partner and I planned a visit after hearing from some friends about their stay. I was not prepared to be so impressed with this location! All the details involved with the place are well thought out. Contactless check-In to a local selection of concession goodies show every detail is well developed to make a seamless hotel stay. Returning after a rainy-day dinner to find the floors are heated was an absolute treat! Throwing on some records with the vinyl in the room was the perfect end to our day. Will most definitely be returning.

This hotel was really beautiful, clean and such a retreat. Contactless entry was easy and parking was also really simple. We enjoyed having the Bluetooth speaker, the toiletries smelled fantastic and the kitchen was set up perfectly. The bed and linens were so comfy. Would recommend this place for sure.

LOVED my stay at the Smith. Two nights of luxurious comfort with wonderful bedding, towels, and toiletries. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked; one could make meals there and entertain. The rooms are quiet, the furniture is elegant and tasteful, it's very clean and there's a record player and albums for use in each room. There is a washer/dryer should you need it in the building, parking out back( no charger yet sadly) and the lighting is very thoughtful and practical. There is no other place to stay in Kingston; this is IT! BOOK it; you will not be disappointed!

"I wanted to share my experience at this hidden gem of a hotel! As a parent from Queens, I stayed here to visit my Queens student and was impressed by the hotel's convenient location, close to Princess Street and a stroll from the university. The parking was excellent and I felt safe during my stay. The building has a lot of character, and I appreciated the smart use of space. The design and finishing of the space were beautiful, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The provided bathrobes, soap, and shampoo were a nice touch, and the heated floors made for a comfortable stay. I was also pleased that the Netflix and internet connection worked well. The bed was super comfortable, and the abundance of natural light made it easy to get some work done during my stay. The hotel has only been open for a short time, but I'm sure it will be a huge success. I wish the ladies who opened this boutique hotel the best of luck. Overall, I loved my stay and highly recommend this hotel!"

Clean and spacious loft. Loved how close it was to all the shops and restaurants. Would stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed this property Aug 3-4th for 2 nights. We were in the king premium loft. The check in process was easy and all steps were emailed and texted; with no check in desk, with contactless check-in, keys are obtained via a lock box and code that is shared with guests. Our loft was a beautiful mix of modern and beautiful stone and architectural features of steel/wood/glass staircase. The kitchen is well appointed will everything needed for basic meals. There is laundry services on site, free for guests to use with soap and dryer sheets supplied. The bed was firm (our preference) and very comfortable. The staff checked in with me daily via text inquiring if we had any questions or if there was anything we needed. We requested a standing fan for our loft and it was supplied with no issues. The lighting in the bathroom of our loft was a little dark, which was a little challenging for makeup application. Check is 4 pm and check out was 10 am. We were granted access to our loft early with no issue. Parking was on site and the hotel is located within walking distance of many restaurants and shops and within 10 min of Ontario Street and Kingston's beautiful waterfront. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a romantic getaway to Kingston.

What a cool place! Centrally located and the 'virtual' experience was seamless. The suite was gorgeous and we were amazed at how well equipped it was, right down to the album that was set up on the turntable. We would definitely stay at The Smith again and have recommended it to many people.
