Warm welcome, beautiful hotel. Luxury interior. Privat parking. Fine dining end fantastic breakfast. One of the best locations in the city at very short walking distance of the bars, pubs, restaurant and the old town. Located at the waterfront.

I enjoy my stay everytime at this hotel. Quiet, tidy, clean, good rooms, everything works as it should. Well-Located by the quiet river area, close to the old town and to the small harbour to cross to the island. Staff is professional. Food menu is good but it could do with a change in my opinion, I would like to see more Lithuanian classic dishes made with taste, but also classic hotel dishes should be available (like a regular Pizza or Spaghetti Bolognese).

The hotel is nice enough, but has one major flaw. There is no in-room thermostat so you cannot control your room's temperature. You have to call the front desk if you want a temperature adjustment made. The room was far too hot for our preference and calling the front desk to have it adjusted and there was never a meaningful change in temperature. We slept in pools of our own sweat. While we appreciate "green" initiatives, this was ridiculous.

Location is good near the fortress and an old town. There is a dedicated parking in front of the building with one Porsche Destination Charger. However, parking was not very efficiently guarded since one day recharging stations were occupied by two combustion engine vehicles. I think there should be some sign for people who are stupid enough not to see it otherwise. Building is an old warehouse, and it's very nicely rebuilt for a hotel. Double room was spacious as well as bathroom. Nice shower. Very good bed. However, shared blanket in a double bed is not very good idea in the summer in a room without air conditioning. Breakfast is ordered in advance and then made while sitting. It was rather good.

Really nice stay, particularly liked friendly staff, excellent breakfast and authentic atmosphere of the property. Not so happy with the ‘attic’ room, which was rather narrow, low ceilings and hot.

This is a great hotel in Klaipeda. The room was quite comfortable. Hotel staff were very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic.

The service is on the boundary of insulting. Rooms have absolutely no soundproofing whatsoever as you can easily hear all the sounds on the corridor (the doors have literal gap and light is seen) as well as you can clearly hear your neighbors speak or, lets be honest here - use a bathroom. In general, extremely poor value for money - plainly close to ripoff.

We had a very nice stay at the Michaelson. The views of the harbor were good and the hotel is conveniently located for walking for dining. The room was spacious and unique - my only complaint is that the luggage rack in our room was located near an exposed wood beam that my husband and I both hit our heads on - lol. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that the bar and restaurant were closed during our recent stay. I would definitely stay again if returning to Klaipeda.

Michaelson Boutique Hotel was the worst experience of our trip. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but we left 45 minutes after check in with big arguments with the receptionist and owner. The hotel was sold to us as fully air conditioned (they still advertise this on some reservation websites) but it wasn’t the case. The room was 36 degrees celcius when we arrived and it was simply unbearable on a hot August day. We were served with a range of conflicting stories (there is no A/C, it is broken, etc). At the end we had to involve our reservation agent to get a refund since they take payment plus 100 euros on arrival. In summary an untrustworthy property which doesn’t deserve its high ranking, i would definitely give Michaelson a miss if you visit Klapeida.
