Situated in the heart of Port Island, this hotel boasts fantastic views from its upper levels. It's conveniently located right next to the International Convention Center. Public transportation is a breeze with easy access to the light rail, and it's also very close to Kobe Airport. For travel to/from Kansai, the high-speed ferry provides the most convenient option. There's even a convenience store available within the building. The rooms are notably spacious, and the lobby feels quite luxurious. Despite being an older property, all the facilities and equipment are exceptionally well-maintained.
Convenient location, close to the market. The room was compact but very clean and comfortable with good amenities. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast is in their restaurant which is at the entrance adjoining the hotel. Only japanese food is served with limited varieties. Good food but the same menu is repeated everyday, which is boring if you stay for more days.
Just a few mins away from both Sannomiya station and Motomachi area. Equipped with a public bath facility and the coin laundry. (There was a queue after 9pm. Go for it earlier!) Staff were attentive and helpful. Only drawback- the view of my room was like completely blocked by other buildings, and we were not able to get enough natural lights. It was even darker than the average at night.

This is a wonderful hotel to stay while in Kobe. It is just next to Kobe Harborland and Kobe Port Tower. The room we had comes with a private balcony offering a spectacular view of the harbour. The room is clean, comfortable and has full amenities. The hotel provides bus shuttle service to and from Sannomiya Station. There is also a Family Mart located at the lobby where you can buy snacks, drinks and other additional amenities. Hotel is also walking distance from a Starbucks which opens at 7:30am should you need to get your coffee and the famous BE KOBE sign. Highly recommended.
Very helpful frontdesk who let us checkin early when she could find an available room.
The 2 hours noon snack and refreshment, and the 3 hours evening cocktail was a nice touch.
With the reasonable rate and convenient location, it is a gem.
Quite a nice hotel. Accessible to places via walking. The room is clean and comfortable.
Daily changing of towels and bath robes is provided (may not be that environmental friendly).
It will be good to provide a few hangers 😊
Otherwise, it's been a pleasant stay in the hotel.
Great location. Need to pay for parking. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Provide free sample size skin care products. Room is quite small but acceptable. Overall recommended
The hotel is a little dated, however the location is very convenient as it's near the station, but a little weird to get to the hotel as its lobby is on a higher floor, along with the staff was friendly.
Fantastic location near train station, malls, shops, cafe, restaurants and temple (5-10mins). We are appreciative of the range of toiletries made available (we particularly liked the hair bands, brush & wash loofah). We enjoyed night get together at the lounge with free drinks & ice cream (8-10pm) that provided a good resting point before our late night shopping at Don Quijote which was just across the road.
However, we did not like the self check in process. We initially booked 2 rooms for 5 persons (Deluxe Twin Room with extra Side Bed & a Standard Twin). But added another Comfortable Double room when a 6th person joined. Despite we explained that we now had 2 guests to a room, the hotel issued 3 cards to the 1st room & could only issue a card to the last room. Very rigid.
There is an ironing room for those who need to press their outfits. It is a tad inconvenient to lug our clothes and hangers & water for the steam iron to do the chore.
Overall, I would recommend the hotel esp for families.
Great that the hotel has shuttle bus service from Sannoymiya station, and the service is fantastic. It was hassle free and easy to get to the hotel. Other services were great as well, however, the laundry service was less than great. There are not enough washing machines for the size of the hotel, and many guests are always queuing for the washing machine. Also, the bell captain is inconsistent with the way of managing the laundry queue. Sometimes, there is a waiting list for guests to register on, while other times, there is a need to wait in person for the key to be available.

Amazing
GGuest UserThe high-end hotel that has the longest history in Kobe. It is above a free museum about Kobe. It was very luxurious, and had a wonderful restaurant for Kobe beef, but don't forget to reserve online. All rooms face a certain direction toward the mountains, but not toward the water.
During our stay, the gym was not available. And the location is surrounded by luxury brands, not by the station or markets for food.
MManis. AHotel is located about 5-10 mins from Kobe Sannomiya Station. I only stayed for 1 night but I really enjoyed the amenities that they provided. It is close to some shopping malls and I can easily walk to some of the main attractions. The reception even assisted to make a booking at a restaurant for that evening.
I left rather early the next day for an appointment and requested for my luggage to be sent to my next hotel in Osaka. The charge was reasonable for the service. I left my other bag for collection later. By the time I returned, my battery had ran out and they were kind enough to allow me to recharge my phone.
I am really pleased with their service and assistance during my stay.
SsumionholiyaysWe chose this hotel as it was very near all the shopping streets. However, for the price we paid (about SG$120 per night), it is definitely not worth it. Before arriving at Kobe, was paying the same room price (and even less) at Osaka and Kyoto but these other hotels were way way better. Breakfast was very sad, can skip and go elsewhere to eat. Room was so so cramped. Overall it is no value for money.
독독락당The Unizo Inn was one of the best locations I have stayed at in Japan. The room, relative to Japanese standards, is quite spacious and their degree of cleanliness is enough for even me, someone seldom fickle about cleanliness, to perceive. In addition, they also have a water dispenser situated just outside the elavator in the hallway leading to the room for anyone who might need some hydration. On the other side of the water dispenser was a VOD ticket machine for any guests interested in viewing the hotel's selection of movies. While I did not make use of this service, I am certain there are some travellers who would be most pleased to have something to entertain them even in their room. While I did not decide to have breakfast included with my room for the duration of my stay, the area in which the hotel is located makes it a prime location to acquire breakfast, whether that be a Matsuya right below the hotel or, my preference, Yoshinoya a little ways away. On the note of location, though, the hotel is well situated near Sannomiya station, giving ease of access to other regions of Kobe. That said, the wealth of restaurants and stores near the station alone could probably keep one interested in food occupied for a while. The staff were overall very friendly and the experience as a whole was most enjoyable. One point to note, however, was that like every other hotel I have been to in Japan, there is a stark absence of three-holed outlets so North Americans with three-pronged plugs should be aware of this and come prepared with an adapter of some sort.
JJuxingSEEDMy second stay here was significantly more comfortable than the first. The only minor drawback was the absence of complimentary bottled water, which required me to go downstairs to purchase some. The overall environment and cleanliness were very good, and the location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to get around.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, just across the street from Daimaru Department Store, and surrounded by commercial streets. Nankinmachi is also next door.
Luggage can be stored for free in front and back.
The downside is that the room is really small.
GGuest UserIt was great that the station was within walking distance.
For safety reasons I couldn't block the peephole in the door so I decided to open the bathroom door and block it instead.
The hair dryer was in the bedroom, so I was a little concerned about the noise, but it was great that there were lots of mirrors.
The orange lights were a bit of a problem, but the staff were kind enough to answer my questions.
