Das Resort in der Pool Villa sind ziemlich heruntergekommen. Leider ist es dort auch ziemlich dreckig, aber das stört die Ameisen dort nicht. Das Inventar ist auch kaputt, das Waschbecken kann man direkt herausnehmen, alles ist dreckig, bekommt es wahrscheinlich nicht mehr richtig sauber. Die Beleuchtung drinnen und draußen funktioniert nicht. Der Pool an sich ist sehr schön und sauber, aber man muss vorsichtig sein, um sich nicht an den Fliesen zu verletzen oder an den heraus stehenden Nägeln in den Holzbrettern. Das resort hat einen sehr schönen Strand und ein tolles Meer, wenn man gerne in Müll badet. Ich finde es sehr, sehr schade, dass sich das resort nicht um den Strand kümmert und diesen pflegt. Das Frühstück sah auch nicht sehr appetitlich aus, die Ameisen fanden es wohl wohl besser. Ich denke, vor einigen Jahren war das ein traumhaft schönes Resort, aber leider ist es es heute nicht mehr. Die Angestellten waren auch kaum da, das finde ich auch etwas schade. Ich werde hier sicherlich nicht noch mal herkommen und kann das entsprechend auch niemandem weiter empfehlen.

After reading some very negative reviews me and my girlfriend were worried the place would be a mess, however we were actually pleasantly suprised when we arrived. The pool was working and very nice with a great view (some of the tiny tiles were loose but who cares?) The room we got (ocean view with jacuzi) was big and clean. With a nice view of the ocean and a little part of the beach. Breakfast buffet was great. Enough options, altough it's mostly outside so it could get hot. Staff is very helpfull and friendly and even called us to make sure we had tickets for the ferry (they need to be booked in advance online) the beach was lovely crystal clear water and enough beach beds to use. The food at the restaurant is nice not the best, but there are lots of restaurants on the island you could visit if you want something else. Overall chams house is a great place to stay, with friendly staff a nice calm beach area and great vacation vibes. just dont expect to be in a 5 star resort!

Very nice complex, unfortunately not completely new. Very quiet and secluded, which I found pleasant. The beach is very secluded, right next to the short hotel beach. We had a lovely time there. Good food.

Suite à mon séjour à l'hôtel Cham’s , je suis très déçu , c’est a fuir pour de bonne en vacance famile car les chambres sont très sales , les draps troués et meme tâchés …. il y a pas d'eau chaude et quand de l’eau il y a elle est marron comme les toilettes . les tuyau de douche sont rouillé et fuit. . Mai comme cela ne sufisais pas , la chambre etait remplie d'insectes y compris des souris voir des rats vie leurs taille . La nuit le bruit en etait infernal, on ne pouvais pas dormir. La piscine sal comme un egout . La pire expérience hôtelière de toute ma vie, surtout venu en famille et ayant loué une chambre de quatre jours pour plus de 1000 euros . et cela se termine pas. Ainsi je me suis retrouvé avec une infection et une éruption cutanée impression impressionnante. J’espère pouvoir vous poster des photos pour vous montrer la douleur et la souffrance que j’ai subi moi et ma famille. Un conseil à tous n’y aller surtout pas

The nice hotel consists of one building and separate villas on a private beach, where there are no other hotels, there is a swimming pool (although they wrote that it was under renovation, but it worked), buffet breakfast, there are enough dishes, there is another restaurant on the beach , but didn’t go there. The room was on the third floor of the main building with a jacuzzi on the balcony, but it didn’t work, they used it as a mini pool, there was a problem with Wi-Fi, the speed was low and kept disconnecting, overall not bad.

Very old hotel and in poor condition, breakfast was very limited, not much choice

Hello. We stayed at this hotel and it was the worst experience we ever had (and we do travel a lot). The whole place is in a really, really bad condition. Everything is falling apart. 1.We had a tropical villa with pool, which was dirty and green and definitely not ready for swimming! 2.Also Sunbeds on the terrace of the villa were so dirty!! 3.Main pool on the terrace near the restaurant was dirty and the tiles are falling off. 4.Bath tub in the vila unusable!!! Rusty, dirty! 5.The water pipe in the bathroom was broken so the water was running behind the sink and not in it. 6.The water pressure of the shower was so terrible it was impossible to rinse the shampoo of the hair. 7.Breakfast was unedible! The shefings with food were so dirty it felt like eating from the floor. We came at 9 o clock and third of the food was gone… no watermelon, no orange juice, no omelets. Not to forget the bread…which wasnt fresh- i am pretty sure it was at least two days old… We only ate the first day and 2 out of three, had stomach cramps after two hours, so we had to spend extra money to go to other breakfast place (each time 1000baht). 8.Last night was even more special, we had a rat in the room, behind the refrigerator and we couldn’t sleep all night, because it was chewing everything including a bag of peanuts (picture attached) And I have to remind you that we booked this hotel based on the pictures that promised a swimming pool for our kid. We payed extra for the villa with the pool which we couldn’t use!!!! 9.The terrace wood floor is falling apart. 10.Underneath the villa was garbage dump… thousands of cans and plastic bottles. 11.The windows of the villa were super dirty, you cannot see through. 12.Beach is full of garbage. Which by the way was being cleaned by my 6 year old son and other hotel guests, while 3 of your staff were just looking from the restaurant!!

Upon reading the reviews online I was definitely unsure about this resort. We did have some problems but we worked them out. The staff are the best part of this resort. Mark, resort manager, is an expert in handling complaints and correcting them. Unfortunately he has had to take the brunt of a resort coming out of the COVID era!! For 2 years the resort was closed. Unfortunately this did not help with the upkeep of the resort. And to refurbish the resort is going to be expensive!! So in the meantime they have to do what they can with what they have. I am sure a refurbish will occur when it is affordable. In the mean time enjoy the resort as best you can. I was very comfortable at the resort. the beach was never that busy and there was always a beach chair available with towels. The restaurant on the beach was satisfactory for my needs. i do recommend one rents a Scooter for the time you are there. Taxis are expensive! once you get the hang of it, you will be able to explore the many beaches that are on the Island. Just be aware that there are many novices on the road. Most people travel by scooters. Also, with a scooter, you will go to many of the very good restaurants. JK's, Heaven Sense, Kood Vibes, Black Banana, Big Bear(BBQ ribs are the specialty) , Kuba, (but it takes awhile), are just a few recommends. All in all, I was quite satisfied with my overall experience at the resort. I can say I got good value. The morning buffet was more then adequate. Good selection of food. You must try the drip coffee! The service was very adequate and friendly. My wife had bought some fruit snd they gladly cut it up for her.

If I could rate room lower than 1 I will definitely do. Old hotel is OK but dirty and stingy this place , we booked 3 night for balcony jacuzzi room ( in the building next to reception area). - Room smells moldy , dirty and moist air. - wet floors. - Bed linen and towels are smells fusty , stuffy...and many stains on. - Shower has only hot water. - Animals friendly...like lizard and Gecko...we had 2-3 at our balcony and on the floor in our room Goosebumps experience.

It's not that bad like the review i've seen. The hotel is quite old but it not that old; everything still practicable. I've got satisfactory services from very single staff. Front beach is rocky yet still beautiful; i can enjoy incredible sunset.

This hotel is on one of the most beautiful beaches in Koh Kood and yet the beach is full of plastic trash, it's sad! The hotel should be picking up the rubbish, not only for guests, but for the wildlife too The hotel itself doesn't have much atmosphere, but looks nice from the outside

Really average....too bad.... Correct range. Room not consistent with the photos. Unworthy swimming pool (no equipment). No seaside swimming pool??

We were very disappointed with this hotel and part of us was our own fault to look at the reviews on other websites. The hotel's cleanliness fell short of expectations, especially in the rooms -amenities were lacking: the swimming pool’s water was cloudy and there were several tiles missing -breakfast was underwhelming: terrible coffee (tasted like instant coffee) and the food containers did not look particularly clean - the lids of the containers were constantly open and they’re were bugs flying around fruit and other food items at all times. No one during the breakfast service seemed to care about it and maintain things clean. While the surrounding gardens around the villas were beautiful, the overall property is in need of a significant update to match its potential. The rooms are old and in need of repair, as well as in need of new shower heads, curtains, bedsheets, duvet covers and pillows - which were all old looking and very much STAINED. The coffee machine inside of the room was also very very dirty. The beach area in front of the hotel is rocky, and the surrounding beaches are very dirty with litter everywhere. Usually I like enjoying the hotels amenities but with Cham’s House I was staying there as little as I possibly could. I would not recommend this place.
