Marasca Samui - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

Quite a new hotel, open in Jan 2024. Very Nice and clean in which the designer looks into every little detailing in designing the room. All the staff are very friendly and polite. I book a room with private pool but upon check in, there is no bathtub in the room. So we request to change room with bathtub, their friendly staff, Nat, show us the room, help to change and upgrade the room for us. Hotel is near lots of nice restaurants and places of interest. Breakfast food provided is very nice and we enjoy the breakfast very much for 3 days. They provide activities like pilates, hydro fit exercise in the morning and evening and free ice-cream and 1 For 1 drinks at the poolside. Overall, a very nice and friendly hotel which we will come back again.

I would give 5 star for cleanliness but we saw many ants in our room and during our stay we had ant attack. Hotel took action immediately. Service staff also generally very good but few of them trying not to make eye contact even there was no many table you feel unattended that’s why deducted 1 point. But I would definitely recommend

This was a brilliant place. Loved it. Would go again! Pros - around night life and easy to beach areas - room was luxury. Was fairly new. - rooms large. Has a small kitchen for ordering Grabs - restaurant was superb. Loved their Piri Piri chicken. Con - NOISE. Be prepared to sleep only at 2am. This is Koh Samui’s party area. The resort hotel is right in it. Major bars. We heard the music loud. Hotel does its best but really its the outside noise. Good for those wanting party nights. - cleaning: its average. We need high cleaning, so most might find acceptable. They dont clean toilets daily! Everything runs on APP. So if you want service you need your phone with you. If you like us, wanting to get rid of life whilst on holiday, then bring a spare phone!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) From the moment we arrived at Marasca, we knew we were in for something special. The resort is very well-secured at the entrance, giving us peace of mind right away. The front office team was simply superb—friendly, efficient, and attentive in just the right way. Our porter was quick to assist with our luggage, no fuss, no wait—just seamless service. Although early check-in wasn’t available when we arrived, the hotel’s app made all the difference. Through the app, we could explore the resort, make requests, and track our room status. Eventually, we received a notification that our room was ready—such a convenient system! The room itself? Immaculate! Spotless and thoughtfully designed with a massive bed, a sparkling clean shower area, a cozy separate seating space, and an automated toilet that lifts the cover for you. No-touch toilet seat? That’s a huge bonus! We were also greeted with a delightful welcome basket in the room, packed with special drinks, snacks, and even a handwritten postcard by the General Manager. It was such a warm and personal touch—it’s hard not to fall in love with the place instantly. We did try the spa, and while it’s on the pricier side, the service and facilities were absolutely worth every penny—top-notch from start to finish. Cabanas, the beach club at Marasca, is another highlight. Ultra-chilled vibes, beautifully designed with lush greenery, comfy furniture, and a view that opens right up to Chaweng Beach. It was the perfect place to unwind. Breakfast? Impressive. A great mix of Western and Asian dishes, plus a healthy spread of salads, pastries, yogurt, juices, and smoothies. The little touches like free healthy shots in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon truly made our stay even more enjoyable! Marasca also offers daily activities for guests, so you’ll never run out of things to do. To sum it all up: this is, hands down, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Huge shoutout to the amazing team—Mo, Tony, Ja, Chet, Jenny, Puppup, Andy, Pui, Golf, and the rest whose names I can’t recall. Your teamwork and hospitality were unforgettable. Great location, friendly staff, fun beach club. Limited pool seating, breakfast area can get crowded Staff were warm and always ready to help. The beachfront club was a highlight with great food and lively events.
