Heritage Boutique Hotel Adriatic-Adults Only

This was our first visit to Orebic and it won’t be our last. The food was excellent - breakfast and evening dinner. The staff were friendly and welcoming. For us, one of the main attractions of this hotel was the private beach (very small) and Cabanas (Very Big!) - one each exclusively for the use of the 6 rooms. Being adjacent to the hotel…and the outdoor restaurant was perfect and made for a very relaxing 10 day holiday. We recommend you take the ferry to Korcula (a beautiful and historic island) … the departure point is only a short walk from the hotel and at 3.5 Euros each (one way) for the crossing, it’s a bargain and a great place to visit…we did so 3 times during our stay. For red wine lovers it’s great too as they have their own Winery a short taxi ride away and it has a very good museum…highly recommended, as is their excellent 16.5% red!!

We stayed 3 nights in the Paulina room (turns out to have been best room in house). The mother/daughter team and their team really keep things together. Breakfast on the sea (included) was a treat; the staff just aims to please. Turns out that 6 of the rooms have permanently reserved chairs at the seaside to watch the world go by-- we availed ourselves of that a few times...bring your bottle of wine down with you and just relax (hard for us at times-- ha ha). We had dinner at the hotel (and we never do that) twice; really good food and well presented. We eat late so get your order in before 930pm! Funny that you "can" take the 15 min ferry to Korcula and have dinner across the way. We went over to Korcula for the day on a Sunday for wine-tasting and stroll the little walled town. "Next time" we'd go over for dinner. The family has a winery nearby that we'd avail ourselves of next time. We had some of their wines at dinner-- good show. (but def make rez for wine tasting at nearby (just walk to it) Korta Katerina for a special treat). Note to please re-affix more firmly the shower head / punch list item and you'd get to 100%.

The front desk manager of the hotel, who happens to be the owner’s daughter, is beyond rude and highly aggressive in her tone and attitude. This is a great shame as the hotel is lovely, the setting is great and the rest of the staff are hard-working and charming. Sadly, the lady is question needs to be given training. And soon!

I am deeply appalled and incensed by the utterly disgraceful incident that unfolded during my recent visit to your hotel's restaurant and beach area. As a longstanding and valued patron, the trea**ent my friends and I endured is beyond reprehensible and demands immediate action. Following a delightful dinner at your restaurant, we decided to enjoy the tranquil ambiance of the adjacent beach, which was unoccupied at the time. To our shock, we were confronted by one of your female staff members, whose aggressive approach and degrading behavior left us feeling demeaned and humiliated. The utter lack of professionalism and respect exhibited by this employee is a blatant insult to the values that any reputable establishment should uphold. Being compared to dogs and subjected to verbal abuse without any justification is an indelible stain on the reputation of your hotel. I wish to emphasize that we did nothing to warrant such a deplorable trea**ent. As paying customers, we expected to be treated with dignity and courtesy, as is our right. However, the actions of this employee demonstrate a shocking disregard for the basic principles of customer service and common decency. This incident has left a lasting negative impression, and I must assert that unless there is an immediate and satisfactory resolution, my friends and I will never consider returning to your establishment. We refuse to support an organization that allows its employees to engage in such degrading and unacceptable behavior without consequences. It is imperative that you take urgent and decisive action to address this matter. Failing to hold the responsible employee accountable will only serve to reinforce the perception that your hotel condones and tolerates such reprehensible conduct. Let me be unequivocal in stating that should this matter not be addressed promptly and to our complete satisfaction, I will make it my personal mission to share our harrowing experience with the widest possible audience. I will actively dissuade potential guests from patronizing your hotel, and I will utilize every available platform to expose the appalling trea**ent we endured. In conclusion, the onus is on your management to demonstrate integrity and commi**ent to rectifying this egregious situation. We deserve an unequivocal apology and an assurance that steps will be taken to prevent any recurrence of such distressing incidents. The reputation of your establishment hangs in the balance, and it is imperative that you act swiftly and decisively to restore our faith in your hotel.

Looking at my scores for this hotel you may wonder why such a low score re the staff . In fact it is only 1 member of the staff and the remainder of staff were 5 stars. Adrianna who was the front desk and team leader was abrupt , not helpful and only going thru the motions. On check in I had to wait for her to finish texting to complete my checkin process. She is Not a representative of what this fabulous establishment deserves. This hotel was by far the jewel of all hotels we stayed in Croatia which were numerous in number and in all locations. The room was spectacular, the views amazing, the breakfast menu and location was breath taking . You are even allocated a personal cabana for 2 right on the water. Don’t look elsewhere other that this establishment

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The room was quite big for a European hotel and furnished very nicely. The view from our room of the Adriatic was spectacular. Breakfast every morning was a delight and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The hotel arranged a wine tour for us, which was a big highlight of our vacation. We had our best meal in Croatia at the hotel’s restaurant, the Old Captains Restaurant. If you come to Orebic make a dinner reservation at the restaurant as you won’t regret it.

Hotel Adriatic is a great choice to stay in Orebic, explore the Peljesac peninsula and visit nearby Korcula island. A former church converted into a hotel about 10 years ago, it managed to keep the character of its original premises with details like rosette windows. Very comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, speedy internet, close parking, mini-bar, excellent service, plus your very own beach bed on the hotel’s beach. There’s also a restaurant that serves very good breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and the wines made by the owners!

A compliment for the Kitchen and staff tonight. We had an excellent sea platter with a glas of local wine. The ship shaped restaurant at the sea side gave a nice and informal a**osphere. Wonderful sea view.Beach for Hotel Guests looks appealing.

As we walked on the front we noticed the beach bar shaped like one of the sailing ships built locally 140 years ago. A very pleasant member of staff helped us choose refreshing glasses of wine, and explained about the type of grape and the local vineyard which supplied their wine. The wine, not expensive, was just as promised. We felt that he treated us as well as, if we had bought a bottle of Premier cru.
