The staff at Mitsis Ramira go the extra mile - from being greeted with a fresh homemade lemonade and a hot cloth after travelling, to a smile and prompt service from staff wherever you go. They make the effort to get to know you and even remembered my usual drink. Staff work so hard and nothing is 'too much' - from the catering staff, to the bar staff, to the reception staff and the cleaners. Not forgetting the friendly man who fills up the mini fridge daily with our favourite drinks (included with the all inclusive). They really make the experience 5*. The pools are lovely and clean and the cocktails plentiful and delicious (especially the Pina colada's which are made fresh daily). The food is the best I've ever had at an all inclusive...fresh, high quality and so varied with beautifully Greek touches to the many dishes. The chef cannot do enough for you. You can notify staff about any dietary requirements and they will ensure you are catered for. There is always freshly squeezed orange juice being handed out and beautiful pancakes at breakfast. Everything is included in the all inclusive and there are no 'hidden costs' like some other places have. Such good value for money. Evening entertainment was fantastic and of such high quality. We managed to catch an incredibly talented and fun trio of soul singers on our first night, with beautiful voices. Later in the holiday we had the pleasure of seeing some mesmerising male opera singers perform to guests. There are comfy lounge chairs throughout and a quieter games room for card players. Beautiful hotel beach with a gyros tavern and comfy padded beach beds with umbrellas. Lots of fun things and food to offer, but everything is close by, unlike some resorts. The hotel is near Kos town but they offer a transfer service (the driver is super friendly and accommodating). Rooms are clean and beautifully maintained by the lovely cleaners. I hope you be back. Thank you Mitsis Ramira xxx

What a wonderful week we have had at the Mitsis Ramira. Everything has been perfect, from the smiley and helpful reception staff to the excellent service from the restaurant and bar staff. The rooms were kept spotless too. This hotel goes over and above to make your joliday one to remember. It is in a great location for visiting Kos town and has its own beach with breathtaking views across to Turkey. The creperie and beach bar are lovely too. I came with two twenty something children and my 92 year old mother. We all loved it! A special mention goes to the restaurant staff for their wonderfully caring attitude to my mother, especially the man at breakfast who made us all start the day with a smile. All the food is fantastic! There was something for everyone including my vegan son. Thank you! We will be back.

Had the best time at Ramira Beach. The service is so good! The food is really tasty and so are the cocktails. Never had such good cocktails at an all inclusive. We loved the small pool near the 600 rooms. But you have to get there early for a sunbed. I’ve put some pictures up of the outdoor gym, as the website and hotel website doesn’t show the new gym. It’s actually quite good! So in case the lack of gym put you off; there’s weights, bars etc. I would recommend hiring bikes from the hotel and cycling around as that was amazing! They have cycle paths so it’s not scary

Arrived late on a Friday night and received a cold towel at check in but no welcome drink as other reviews have mentioned. Following check in, we were able to access the late night buffet at this time but it was underwhelming but nice that we could get some food at that time. Our room was lovely, we had a first floor sea view room in the main building. The room was large and comfortable with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was also a good size but it has no extractor fan and so the mirror steams up when you shower. The shower is over the bath and in the middle of the bath with a fixed shower screen so it felt a little cramped. On our arrival night I took my shoes off and my feet were dirty from walking on the floor after 5 minutes, it was like the room was half finished. Towels were replaced as required along with beach towels which was handy. We asked for an extra bed pillow too which was provided. The room was kept cleaned well the rest of the week, this is despite us never meeting Linda the seemingly infamous housekeeping manager that every other review mentions! The food in the main buffet was okay, a little repetitive after a week and we only noted one theme night whilst there. It was standard all inclusive buffet, nothing special. The al a carte restaurants were much better quality and we ate at the Italian brunch, the Italian for dinner and the Meat restaurant. We often queued for the main buffet and this made it feel like a school canteen but the queue usually moved swiftly. It seemed busy at this time of year and we didn’t find the a**osphere particularly relaxing. Older staff seemed lovely and engaged with guests but some younger staff barely spoke and we often waited a while for drinks. It would be useful if you could help yourself in this area to drinks. Around the main pool in the daytime there was some waiter service but this was hit and miss as they didn’t come to you regularly. Waited over an hour for a drink one day because the order had not been processed. Certainly not enough staff working the day time and again not overly friendly or attentive. It also seems a hotel where you need to get up early for towels on sunbeds, which we absolutely hate as a holiday practice and this is not monitored by the hotel. Lots of reviews comment overwhelming on the friendly staff however, we didn’t particularly find this. One place they did show this, was at the beach bar; the guys there are a bit older, friendly and have a laugh with the guests. The only disappoin**ent here is that the beach bar doesn’t serve cocktails. Other staff could take some training from them, particularly the ladies in the creperie who were not friendly at all unfortunately. This was the best place for a snack but we always felt like we were asking for the moon on a stick rather than a crepe/waffle! There is no where else to get food snacks during the day so I imagine it’s very busy in Summer as they also seem disorganized. Evening entertainment was you

I am in love with the hotel service, the food, the whole service. I couldn't even imagine anything better. Everything for 10 points and more, food, drinks, activities. It has the attention of absolutely all employees. Beautiful, clean and comfortable. Ramira is definitely the best hotel.

Mitsis Ramira Beach - exceptional service What a fantastic place to spend a relaxing holiday. From the moment we arrived at 23:15 on the Saturday, we were treated as valued guests with nice little touches such as a cold towel and a refreshing drink provided. The restaurant was open with a decent selection of items and not just your usual sandwiches and a bottle of water. Little did we know that this was just the start of an experience we were to treasure. From our initial check-in and throughout our stay the bar and restaurant staff, reception, maids and cleaners always made you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Special mention goes to those working in the Lobby Bar, Riza who runs a tight ship ably assisted by Christina, Edi, big Hymet behind the bar (bartender extraordinaire) and others too numerous to mention. Not forgetting the afternoon shift of Maria and her co-bartender, who's always on the go and therefore I couldn't quite catch her name ably assisted by Mina, the big Jon Rham lookalike. Also a shout-out to Yanis and Maleki who operate the beach bar to great effect. The staff are all a credit to themselves and to the wider Mitsis group and always have the guest's best interests at heart. A wee tip if anyone is allocated room 157 and hears a vibration noise when the kitchen prep starts at 06:10, just open the upper doors of the built-in wardrobes and this will alleviate the noise. The room itself is at the end of the block with sea and partial pool views, spacious and very well presented with a large bathroom and wooden balcony. All food, drinks and beverages were first class with a wide range of cocktails perfect for sunny days. Never ate a poor meal in the buffet restaurant, with all food well prepared and some dishes of exceptional quality. Overall this was such a pleasant stay and we look forward to returning in the future.

I traveled to the Ramira with my adult son. This is the third time I have stayed at a Mitsis resort, having previously stayed at the Cretan Village in Crete and the Grand in Rhodes. There is a friendly, familiar feeling when staying at a Mitsis resort, and the consistent high quality accommodation, food and facilities means you know you are in for a treat, from the very start. Unfortunately, my son became unwell during the journey to Kos and had to be hospitalised, a few hours after we arrived. This meant our stay was very brief, but there was time for me to see the facilities and much of what the place has to offer, and that includes pretty much everything anyone could need for a brilliant holiday. I have to say, the concern and compassion the staff showed us upon my son needing emergency attention, was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were comforted by the kindness, concern and reassurance shown by everyone. In particular, the Manager and her reception staff were incredibly attentive and empathetic. We could not have asked for more. I was pleased to hear whilst chatting, how content the staff are, and how lucky they feel to be working for the company. It seems the staff are looked after, as well as the guests. The business has some real diamonds representing it at the Ramira, and I sincerely intend to return to complete my holiday there, as soon as I can. Thanks again 💜

Mitsis Ramira is a lovely hotel where the staff can’t do enough for you, the food is great and they have varied themed nights to change up the menu. The cleaning staff are our standout favourites. Linda and her team always do a fantastic job, they go above and beyond to ensure we were looked after and ensure our room kept immaculate, this is by far the cleanest hotel we have stayed in which goes a long way in making a holiday luxurious. The hotel is a 10min taxi ride to Kos town or alternatively bikes can be rented where a dedicated cycle path takes you straight to the marina.

Terrific nine nights here - I needed a restful break and got exactly that. Room was comfortable, food of a high standard as in quality ingredients prepared in small batches, decent drinkable wine, great coffee, good table service at the bars, pleasant private beach. I’ve usually found all-inclusive a la carte to be a grave disappoin**ent but not here - the Italian and Meat were both worth a visit. Lots of little touches like the raki and spoon sweets in the room, provision of beach towels, superb mini bar. Best of all, the staff were brilliant - Vagelis and Valia run a tight ship and the amazing Miltiadis made every restaurant visit so much more enjoyable.
