As for conclusion, this hotel location is very strategic and the price is affordable for the comfortable stay in Kota Kinabalu. I am happy to stay here if I travel back to Kota Kinabalu. Love the food but still can improve

"I liked the location of the hotel. The area in front of the hotel isn't crowded, and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset view. Although the hotel seemed a bit old, I still liked it. It's also close to the airport, convenience stores, the Filipino Market, and public transport. Overall, I felt safe during my stay.

Went there after almost 8 years and they maintain the same service. Better room and maintaining it profile. Highly recommended

The resort is big and the location is near to main attractions such Desa Fairy Farm etc. The mountain view in this resort is amazing!

Had an amazing stay at Promenade Hotel in Kota Kinabalu earlier in May. Got a very good rate for their Junior Suite and it was the best decision taking it up. From the room, to the location, to the service and everything in between was simply top tier. Celebrated my wife's 30th birthday over the weekend and the hotel was kind to place a slice of cake in our room at no cost. The room itself was so big and spacious (45 m2) with a hall and room separately, a walk-in closet and a huge bathroom with a bathtub. Only average part is the poor choices of TV channels and lack of apps to cast/play own content/apps. Such beautiful sunset that can be seen from your room window itself, without needing to head to the waterfront area. Also, based on the proximity of the hotel to the airport, you could so easily see planes coming in for landing from your room and as an aviation enthusiast, its spectacular. The hotel morning buffet is really good with plenty of choices and options that caters to mostly International/Chinese-guests. The hotel had a flatrate parking of RM5 underneath which felt a bit excessive for hotel guests but it is what it is. Would highly recommend this hotel if you would like to see a beautiful scenic sunset daily, walk a short distance to the waterfront area for a nice night or the other direction towards IMAGO for some shopping/eateries.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Unfortunately, during my stay, the hotel was undergoing maintenance, resulting in no hot water for two days. Housekeeping kindly provided hot water upon request. The complimentary breakfast could use some improvements — the coffee machine frequently ran out of water, causing long waits, and the food quality could be better. Overall, still a pleasant stay and I hope these issues will be addressed.

The hotel’s place is pretty nice, can see the wonderful ocean and sunset view when I stand in front of the window. I love the chair which is placed in front the window. The chair is comfortable, and can read a book or watch the TV or see the outside scene. The room is pretty great for me. There is a mini bar in the living room, they provide coffee machine there. I do really enjoy it!

Great experience staying here for last 3 days. Location is strategic. Will be back to again next month
