Very nice hotel with great facilities. However be warned that there is not much to do on the island if you are not a climber. 🧗♂️🧗♂️

Hello, there are not many cafe and restaurant options on the beach where the hotel is located, you have to go to the next beach to spend time in the evenings. Its beach and facilities are better. To get there, you can go by mountain road or by boat. You can go back and forth by paying a total of 1000 baht for the boat. In my opinion, it is chosen just to relax in nature, but it can be boring when staying for too long.

I know this place since it was built many years ago. Now that it has reopened after Covid there is not enough staff to keep the place in good shape. The Burmese workers and room maids on the site are friendly and helpful but there should be more to operate the place efficiently. Rooms are only cleaned when you ask for it - which means that toilet paper and bottled water are also only randomly replaced. The 2 Thai girls at the reception are very kind. Wifi is only available in public areas and in the rooms around the pool. In the bungalows beyond there is no wifi. The bathrooms are a shower-toilet all in one room so it’s hard to keep things dry. There is no fridge in the bungalows and electricity is only available from 5pm till 8am through a generator. There is currently no restaurant on site (there was one in the past which offered a breakfast buffet). Laundry has to be given to another resort. Furniture and pool sun beds are very worn and need replacement.

Loved this place! Tonsai is beautiful in the extreme and Dream Valley Resort fits perfectly into the valley. The pool is great and just like the photos. The staff are friendly and super helpful. Railay Beach is a short walk thru the jungle and the track is easy to find. It’s clear that Covid has affected the local shops and restaurants. And yea the rooms are basic with electricity limited at times. But there’s real magic in this place and it’s not hard to find.

The hotel itself is okay. Unfortunately the bed was very, very hard. The room practically only had one bed and everything else was completely empty. So really not even a picture on the wall. The location of the hotel is both good and bad. The hotel is located in the most beautiful bay. In Tonsai Bay. The only problem is that after 6 p.m. it's very difficult or very expensive to get to other places. Unfortunately there is nothing going on on the island in the evenings, so you have to get away from there to do something. The island is known as a hippie island. A paradise for hippies. For everyone else, a beautiful island. Lots of large spiders on site. Nice, clean pool with nice views. Electricity is only available in the rooms from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. Very nice for climbing enthusiasts because you can climb directly on the beach.
