Frank Ao Nang Krabi Resort Reviews

First of all, I paid for a bungalow but when I arrived there the bungalows were fully booked. The staff admitted that they made a mistake and gave us a “deluxe” room. However, that’s not what I wanted nor what I paid for. We were forced to accept it since we had no where else to go. Secondly, when we arrived in the room it had a unbearable stink. After a few attempts we realized the stink was coming from behind the mini refrigerator in the room. When we called the staff to check they found a dead animal in the back of the fridge. They replaced the fridge but I find disgusting that they would even rent that to anyone. Third, the towels and the sheets provided were dirty and full of stains. Fourth, they have a sign stating that the swimming pool is open during the night but they closed it at 9pm and the staff was even unaware of the sign stating that the pool is open until 3am. Long story short, one of the filthiest places I have ever stayed and they not even had my reservation. Honestly, I paid to you for something I did not get and use.

Location about 1km away from famous AoNang beach. Quiet 3 story hotel with a small swimming pool each room with balcony. 200m walk to main roads with lots of eateries. B150 mini bus from airport to hotel drop off. Hotel reception organised mini pickup to airport B150. No breakfast.

This charming hotel surprised us with its delightful location, just a 17-minute walk from Ao Nang beach. Perfect for those seeking a quieter escape while still being close to the action. Upon arrival, even though we were ahead of schedule for check-in, the friendly hostess went above and beyond to accommodate us. She graciously stored our luggage so we could explore the area worry-free until our room was ready. The hotel has two inviting swimming pools, perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this hotel provided a fantastic base for our Krabi adventure. We highly recommend it for travelers seeking a comfortable and relaxing stay near Ao Nang Beach.

This is my third time staying at Frank. I like it because it's in a remote and quiet area looking at the mountain. I also rent a scooter in Ao Nang so it's much easier to get around and back to the hotel. This time I didn't like waiting a hour for the room to be ready past the check in time of 2pm.

Nice hotel away from the main street noise but still very central. Jan was very helpful in booking our boat tour and transportation to our next spot.

The hotel is brand new and spotless. They give an amazing service and go on and beyond to assist. It’s located within a walk distance from the boat pier in Ao Nang beach, which is convenient.

The hotel offers a great view, good service, and a clean swimming pool, making it a pleasant stay. However, the WiFi connection needs improvement.

I really love this hotel so much. It's reached my expectations. So calm, so comfortable, so tidy. I went to Krabi in the middle of low session. I will come again to this hotel.

The hotel was ok for one night but it was SUPER NOISY because its next to the forest and there were monkeys like 15 meters from your room screaming at 5AM. Also it is VERY far from the beach and there are no Taxis the older reception lady also seemed not very motivated / wasn't really friendly

The hotel itself is nice, pool was amazing and so was the restaurant. It is LOUD though, don't plan to get much sleep. You can hear EVERYTHING outside, the room above us was moving furniture and bowling... or at least that's what it sounded like....All Night

Advantages: 1) quiet place, 2) swimming pool in a few meters from bungalow, 3) cafe with tasty food close to the hotel. Disadvantages: 1) there are too few lights in the room, 2) room cleaning might be better.

Quite enjoyed my stay. Very quiet and still close to the main street. No breakfast but that could just be low season. Would stay here again. Staff were there if you needed them but not intrusive in any way.

Great little resort , staff are very friendly and helpful ,I enjoyed my stay here with the family, pools good and nice view of the mountains, would definitely return
