My spouse and I spent 5 nights here! We loved being right next to the temple as it was peaceful and we had beautiful views. The hotel is renovated so it feels like you are in an older style palace, but you have modern amenities. I think the hotel location is perfect if you are coming to Chengdu for parks, relaxed travel vibes, and temples. It’s a little far from the eastern side of the city, of course, but the hotel is conveniently located to the metro and easy for Didi to find you. It was my second time in Chengdu, so I had no trouble getting around. Our room was very clean and neat. The staff changed our towels every day and cleaned the floors. They also provided fruit, sichuan snacks, water, and tea. The bed itself is a little firm (hard), but it is definitely large & clean. The pillows were excellent. it The hotel staff is extremely accommodating and kind. One night when it was raining, a cockroach snuck in - as they are bound to do - and a staff member helped us smash & remove it! Another night, another kind staff member helped us order dandan noodles on *******. They ordered a taxi for us on our way to the train. My chinese is quite basic, and the staff had limited english, but we were able to understand each other through my broken chinese and also using wechat / translation apps! The breakfast is simple and light but has a variety of fruits, vegetables, pastries, bao, and noodle/meat dishes. We primarily eat vegetarian and they had mushroom noodles available. Also, for coffee drinkers - there is a Luckin very close to the hotel. I definitely hope to return sometime for more peaceful moments 🙏😌

While there's certainly room for improvement in some areas, the service attitude truly deserves 5 stars. Keep up the great work! Overall, my stay was good. The breakfast was delicious. Complimentary access to Qingyang Palace. Facilities are well-appointed. The decor is fantastic. The Taoist aesthetic is evident throughout. I highly recommend it for those looking to relax and rejuvenate.

This is an excellent hotel that far exceeded my expectations. The environment is absolutely beautiful; I didn't even feel the need to visit other attractions in Chengdu as the hotel itself felt like a destination. I spent a lot of time taking photos, and every shot turned out wonderfully. The service was absolutely superb, and the front desk team, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly kind and helpful. I will definitely stay at Sansheng Courtyard again on my next trip to Chengdu.

On this trip to Chengdu, I wanted to experience a distinctive Chinese-style hotel. After a long search on Ctrip, I ultimately settled on Sansheng Courtyard. The experience completely exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and tidy. What's most commendable is the incredibly warm and enthusiastic attitude of all the staff, from the front desk to the room service. The level of service truly felt even better than many five-star hotels. The environment is also very tranquil and serene. Taking a stroll to Qingyang Palace in the morning to breathe in some fresh air felt absolutely wonderful. The only minor drawback was that the breakfast area was a bit small, which made the breakfast selection seem a little limited. However, the freshly made Zhong dumplings and Dandan noodles by the chef were incredibly authentic! Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chengdu!

The hotel is clean and tastefully decorated. The rooms are equipped with smart technology, and the soundproofing is excellent. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to assist guests. Notably, the hotel shares a wall with Qingyang Palace, and you can use your room key card to access the attraction directly. (Qingyang Palace is highly recommended; if you get the chance, be sure to listen to the Taoist priest's free public lecture – it's incredibly informative and enriching.) Upon checkout, the front desk staff even gave me a super cute souvenir! 🧸

Breakfast is a beautifully presented set menu, featuring authentic and delicious local snacks. The comfortable bedding and superior quality bathroom facilities ensured a pleasant stay. Overall, it's an ideal base to immerse yourself in Chengdu's relaxed pace and authentic culture, highly recommended for those seeking a unique and tranquil retreat. Location-wise, it's perfect: right next to Qingyang Palace with a direct access gate, which even saves you the admission fee. The main exit leads directly to the Qingyang Palace Metro Station. The hotel's design and decor exude a tranquil and transcendent Daoist charm, complemented by incredibly attentive service.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel completely at home. We also enjoyed distinctive daily cultural activities. Our room was elegantly appointed, and the hotel's setting was wonderfully tranquil. The inner courtyard, with its pond and lotus flowers, formed a picturesque scene, and a private gate provided direct access to Qingyang Palace. The restaurant's cuisine was excellent; the freshly prepared wontons (chaoshou) and Dandan noodles for breakfast were especially divine. After a three-day stay, I truly wished I could have stayed longer!

You can access Qingyang Palace directly from the hotel, and in the mornings, you can hear the peaceful sounds of bells and drums. The stay felt more like being a guest in a beautifully maintained private home belonging to a friend. Breakfast was an exquisite set menu, featuring authentic and delicious local specialty snacks. In the afternoon, you can relax in the courtyard or tea room, listen to the birds, and savor clear tea, immersing yourself in a sense of serene Zen. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were of superior quality. Although the hotel isn't large, the cultural amenities it offers – such as Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise) classes, a study, and a tea room – are a significant bonus. Overall, it's an exceptional place to experience Chengdu's relaxed pace of life and authentic culture. I highly recommend it to guests seeking a unique and tranquil retreat.

Beautiful hotel attached to the Qingyang Taoist temple, with renovated rooms. The staff are very outgoing and helpful, even going as far as to help book tickets for the local opera show in the park. The location is perfect, right outside the metro exit to the 5th line, so transportation is very easy. There are rotating daily tea snacks and a rotating nightly dessert/soup if you want them. My friend and I felt very welcome and comfortable the whole time we were there. Can't recommend this establishment enough.

We enjoyed our stay here! Room was spacious and came with high ceilings and a huge bathroom and bathtub; breakfast was scrumptious as well! The hotel provided a lot of nice touches - they served welcome drinks, free drinks in the fridge, afternoon tea snacks, a sweet dessert drink at night and also a free 30-60mins photoshoot. The hotel staff, especially 玲玲 was also super friendly and helpful!

We had one of the best hotel stay experience here in 三生邸院when we visited Chengdu, conveniently located right beside the train station and 青羊宫. The highlight of our stay was actually the hotel staffs who were all very warm and welcoming. 小涵 and her team took great care of us and even arranged a lovely basket of flowers and cake for us. Every night, they would also reserve us some sweet desserts even when we are back late and prepare daily tea snacks for us. There was also a photoshoot provided by the hotel with complimentary rental of costumes and 3 free edited photos and 小涵 took time to recommend which outfits would look better on us. absolutely wonderful stay. We reached at midnight and the staff was so nice and patient. They even helped to sort out problems with my delivery, laundered our clothes for free and lugged our very heavy luggage to the taxi pick up point.. Throughout the stay, they were warm and accommodating, we were sad to leave. We didn't get all the names, but each and every staff is a gem. They have free water and tea available near the entrance and a side gate to the temple next door. Also available is a photo session which we had no time for, but which will be a plus for some traveller's. It is also right by the D exit of the metro station

Amazing staff, clean hotel, good location. Breakfast is small but good enough. Would very much recommend.

A beautiful hotel, i especially enjoyed the complementary tea and the very friendly and helpful staff
