We spent three nights here as part of a round trip in Croatia. First of all, the location: this is very good to rate. Direct waterfront location and a few minutes' walk to the historic center of Krk with numerous restaurants. Furnishings: The hotel seems a bit dated and unloving. The lobby welcomes you in a relatively modern atmosphere. Instead of the booked double room with balcony and sea view, we were given an "upgrade" to a kind of studio in an annexe. However, the equipment of the furniture and the bathroom looked more like the standard of the 90s. Pictures of rooms, which are much more modern, are shown on monitors in the hotel. If the rooms shown here actually exist in the hotel, the upgrade seems more like being pushed off. Furthermore, in my opinion, a few decorative plants are missing everywhere. Climate and space would be there. So the area looks very sober and bare. The pool is a positive. This is big and very clean. Service: When moving into the room on the day of arrival, this was not done by 4 p.m. Also on the second day we found our room unmade in the late afternoon, even though we put the cleaning service sign on the room door. Conclusion: If we ever go back to Krk, we would probably choose another hotel, even if we had to pay more. There are just a few deficits that the hotel management could easily and quickly fix if they were noticed.
