Pros:
1. I arrived early at noon, not very sure whether any room available. The front desk staff (Rony) was very helpful, and able to find a room for me. Check-in was very smooth and I get a room within minutes. Kudos to the front desk.
2. Location was at the center of a busy district, especially during night time. Street food, night clubs, massage parlors are a stone away from the hotel. Shopping malls are within 10 - 15 minutes walking distance. MRT and monorail stations are nearby as well.
3. The safety box is big enough to keep a 15.6" laptop, and the door is up-facing. Interest design but practical.
Cons:
1. The room was pretty dim in lighting, due to the lamps design.
2. The room has no phone, no tissue box and lack of a bathroom floor towel (but was replaced the next day). On the 2nd day, after the house keeping, the toilet roll was missing, and my ear plugs that left on the bedside desk was missing. I suspect the house-keeping staff was not well trained to recognize what items are perishables and which items are reusable, and lack of checklist on the must-do subjects. Since there is no phone, I have to take the lift down to the front desk to ask for the toilet roll.
3. The noise from the street at night was horrible, especially on Saturday night. Even at 2pm, I can hear the noise. Thus earplugs are necessary to have better sleep.
