Kunming Pillowstone Woyun Boutique Hotel (Nanping Pedestrian Street Jinma Bijifang Branch)

The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, assisting with my luggage both to my room upon arrival and back outside when I checked out. The hotel itself has a lovely ambiance, with an antique charm. Its location is excellent – just a 5-minute walk right out the door to Jinmabiji Archway, and also very close to the old street.

The room facilities are comfortable, with a traditional Chinese decor. The small garden in the center and the rooftop garden are quite nice, perfect for a breath of fresh air or a short break. The room's cleanliness and antique charm might not appeal to those looking for a newly renovated place. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service.

My parents stayed here for three nights and had a pretty good experience. The breakfast was also decent.

The hotel has a comfortable environment and is right next to a food street. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Kunming, highly recommended!

The room was quite spacious, perfect for families, and very clean. I'm quite satisfied.

The hotel is conveniently located near the alley entrance, just a 30-meter walk from where you'd be dropped off. They even have an escalator inside. The room was really spacious and great; the 2-meter king-sized bed easily fit three of us, plus there was an extra 1.2-meter twin bed. It's also very close to Nanping Walking Street and Kunming Old Street. Getting a taxi is easy too, just head right out the door to Dongsi Road.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to Jinma Biji Archway, making it super convenient to walk to popular attractions like the Old Street and Cuihu Lake. The staff are quite friendly, and the hygiene is good. There's a small garden on the third-floor terrace which is a nice spot to sit and enjoy a cup of tea. However, the rooms aren't very soundproof, so the noise from the shops downstairs opening in the morning might bother light sleepers or those who like to sleep in.
