Hotel is okay but the hotel staff guy makes a mistake by double charging me by credit card. It ruins everything, my precious time. No apologies received from their mistake.

One of the few four-star hotels in Kurashiki, the environment is very good, the lobby is clean and tidy, the rooms are spacious and bright, the location is excellent, turn right and you will see the entrance to the beautiful area. I walked around almost every day during my stay. The attitude of the front desk staff is also great, almost responsive. If I go to Kurashiki again, I will definitely stay here again.

Good shopping facilities, close to gourmet paradise and Kurashiki beauty spots, worth visiting again

It was the best location for Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. I was able to enjoy both the night walk after putting my luggage in the room and the morning walk.

There is a beautiful area right outside your door

The location was very good, right next to the Ohara Museum of Art, which was the purpose of sightseeing in Kurashiki, and a short walk to the Bikan Historical Quarter. The facilities are old and there weren't many options for breakfast, but the atmosphere is that of a well-established hotel. I was grateful for the free bed-sharing with elementary school students, but I thought it couldn't be helped that there were no amenities.

Wisteria restaurant at kokusai hotel offers excellent continental cuisine The stewed beef was outstanding. It was tasty and especially tender. Duck a l’orange was delicious. Dessert of the day was chestnut mousse WOW so good Pricing is reasonable

Great area and friendly helpful staff.

Although it is an old hotel, there was no strange smell around the bathroom, it was clean, and the bed was firm and good. The bed linen was also comfortable, so I had no problems using it even though I have sensitive skin. The shower curtain and bathtub were also very clean. The white rice for breakfast was also delicious. Well, unlike newer hotels, the unit bath was hard to use, and the lighting wasn't very relaxing, so it wasn't a very relaxing experience, but it's fine if you're just staying for one night.

I was very satisfied with the polite service from start to finish. The tourist attractions are right there and I still wanted to enjoy it, but due to circumstances I was disappointed that I could only stay one night. I would definitely like to use this service again.

As part of a tour organized by Club Med Découvertes, I spent the night of April 5, 2023 in this hotel and occupied room 203. It is a medium-sized hotel, very well located for exploring the alleys of the old district of Bikan, which is right next door. The reception is good. The hotel is quite classic. My room is medium in size with a large bed, an armchair, a coffee table, a desk and a chair. It is on the 1st floor and overlooks the street. There is no decoration. It is completed by a small bathroom with sink, toilet and bathtub. Everything remains a little old-fashioned. In terms of equipment there is air conditioning, an empty minibar, a television without any international channels. Bottled water is offered. Wifi works everywhere. It's comfortable but a little noisy, as you can hear some noise coming from neighboring rooms. The bar is nice. The dinner was good. The breakfast buffet is average but ok, except that the hot dishes are almost cold.

On the day, I was staying without meals, but they found a cafe for breakfast, and even though I went out after checking in and came back late (when the parking lot and front desk were closed), they handled it appropriately. As expected from a long-established hotel. I would like to use it again.
