A boutique Japanese-style hotel with a very convenient location. It only takes seven or eight minutes to walk to Takashimaya and is very close to the shopping district. The hotel is located in a residential area and is very quiet. There are supermarkets and family mart near the hotel

The location is very good, located in a quiet alley, within walking distance to Hanami Koji Road, although the overall space is small and small, it is clean and comfortable.

Facilities: It should be remodeled from an old house, but there is an elevator Hygiene: The toilets are separated from each other, and you can take a bath when you come back every day Environment: The surrounding residential area is very quiet, there is a convenience store opposite the door, and it is very close to the subway station and Kamogawa Service: The front desk and the staff are all blond beauties, and they may receive more European and American guests

The location is very good. It is about 5 minutes away from the subway and bus. You can walk directly to Hanami Koji and Yasaka Shrine. There is also a convenience store downstairs, which is very convenient. The room is small but well-equipped with a comfortable bathroom. The lady at the front desk is fluent in English (no accent), and there are foreign staff, so communication is stress-free.

Transportation: Full marks, the Tozai Line, Keihan Line, and Sanjo-Shijo Station are all next to each other. It is very convenient to go to Osaka (direct from Keihan) and Nara. There are no worries when it comes to finding transportation options. Shopping attractions: The hotel is located between Gion and Shijo shopping malls, and the walk can be controlled in about 10 minutes. Since it is close to the subway entrance and Kyoto's BUS system is very mature, it is very convenient to go to any other attractions from the hotel. Service: The service always shines. We want to cancel the breakfast for a few days that we have paid for. After confirming that it is operable, the hotel front desk will immediately help you arrange it on the same day. The positive feeling brought by this kind of service is very strong. Communication: There were two Westerners at the front desk we met. In addition to the Japanese reception on the first day, everyone's English communication skills were better than mine, which made up for my shortcomings in Japanese conversation skills. Room layout: A standard Japanese-style old building. The room is not big. It is very clean and comfortable. It is a bit regrettable that the window in the room is a false window. Although it faces the outside and has plenty of light, our room cannot be opened. of. Meals: We only tried the breakfast service in the hotel. Objectively speaking, breakfast is not its strong point, but they can accept cancellation services within a reasonable range. I still can't help but praise them for this. Summary: If you want to live in the ancient Gion old town, close to Shijo shopping mall, want to have very convenient subway transportation, and want to experience Japanese architecture, and finally need a certain cost-effectiveness, then this store is highly recommended. A plan.

The hotel is in a great location - in a quiet street but close to everything Gion has to offer. The price is ok for what is offered.

Great location, most things are walkable. The room itself is ok, the hotel is generous enough to give us upgrade to a garden room but it’s not really a garden just a space between buildings that had couple plants that’s smaller than a normal balcony, because the garden room is on ground floor surrounded by high buildings so you never got to see the sky and it’s dark. The mattress is on the floor but the floor has some funny smell kinda smell like dirty feet. All the staffs are super friendly and nice, but the restaurant recommendation are questionable. So make sure do your homework, they are happy to help you to make reservations.

The hotel is located in Gion on a quiet street . Walkable to a lot of temples and Gion tourist shopping street is also very close. Fish market and restaurants are right across the river. The room is comfortable, was upgraded to a garden view but it’s not really a garden if it’s only a 3 feet deep garden ousdie of the window that facing walls of other buildings, you can never see the sky in that room. We usually call that room with no view. The only problem tho is that if you want late check out will be a charge but there’s no storage for luggages. You can only leave them at a corner unattended which doesn’t seem so safe. Staffs are friendly

It’s a cosy hotel to stay in Kyoto which is near to Yasaka Shrine, Nishiki Market, shopping areas and train stations. Staff are friendly and speak good English. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Kyoto.

Loved the traditional but modern mixed vibe the hotel has. Staff was very nice and it was in a great area near central Gion. Would totally stay here again! :)

This was such a cozy hotel in the heart of the Gion district of Kyoto. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to escape the city and have a relaxing time wondering the streets of Kyoto! Our room was decorated beautifully and the staff was highly accommodating. This is a hidden gem! Book immediately! *(A short walk to and from the train station!)*

I had the pleasure of staying at Gion Misen Furumonzen, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the charm and tranquility of this wonderful establishment. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the garden view room. If it's available, don't hesitate to choose it! The view was absolutely breathtaking, with lush greenery and a serene atmosphere that instantly whisked me away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I found myself spending hours simply gazing out of the window, savoring the peacefulness of the garden. The attention to detail at Gion Misen Furumonzen is truly commendable. The room itself was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern comforts seamlessly. The tatami flooring and sliding paper doors added an authentic touch to the experience. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally warm and attentive, making me feel like a valued guest from the moment I arrived. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, and their genuine hospitality enhanced my overall stay. The location of the hotel in the historic Gion district was perfect for exploring Kyoto's cultural treasures, with many attractions and dining options within walking distance. After a day of sightseeing, returning to the peaceful oasis of Gion Misen Furumonzen was a true pleasure. My stay at Gion Misen Furumonzen was an unforgettable experience, and I
