Very friendly and attentive staff, should have used their service to avoid unnecessary mistakes and potential tramps, everyone should know how frustrating Japanese transport system can be! Reasonable close to subway station, literally right next to Nijo Castle!

The staffs are nice, they can speak English. Only the connection of WIFI is poor. The bus stops and some restaurant are nearby.

Lots to do in Kyoto and the hotel was in a good location, with the nearest station just down the road

Very simple hotel with basic facilities, only 3 rooms each level. Room size was actually decent with enough space for a small table. Very affordable prices, 10 mins walk to either rail by different operator. Would recommend for simple travelers!! There’s also a coin washing machine in the hotel!

Stayed in a triple. Clean, compact room - had everything needed for the trip. Front desk was very kind and friendly. Room cleaning was once over the few days but front desk had free amenities if needed. Hotel is in good location, next to fast food chains, convenience stores, and bus stops.

The bathroom is outdated, but overall - it’s a nice hotel. The room was spacious for a Japanese hotel. You can get to the city center by foot in 20 minutes or so. Would definitely recommend.

Bad service . The waitress threatened us for extra charge. Also, she barged in abruptly even though we responded after her knocks.
You will definitely not stay at the toilet since it smells funny…

About 14 mins walk from train station but very near to bus stops and Nijo Castle. Room, toilet and bathroom is clean. Will have to wait for reception staff though because they are not at the counter all the time.
