Very good location for Kyoto traveling, 100% accessible to every where as located right behind the central station, also with airport limo depot just 200m away. Adding on the factor of pricing and the about-average room size, worth returning again.

great location- right opposite to kyoto station, convenient to many places very big hotel with tourist group and many visitors self check in at 3pm and if you go around 3pm the queue will be super long many restaurants and shops around

This is one of the best hotels in Kyoto. The location is just opposite Kyoto station. The rooms are spacious with all quality facilities. The Hotel itself is big and spacious.

I stayed at Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo, and the location is definitely the highlight. Both Kyoto Station and AEON Mall are within a very short walking distance, making it easy to get around and do some shopping. In fact, I could even see AEON Mall from my room, which was a nice bonus. However, the room and facilities felt quite old, even though they were well-maintained and very clean. The lighting in the room was dim, which gave it a somewhat dated feel. Check-in was done through a self-service machine, and there was an additional 400 JPY accommodation tax per person. The service was okay, but it lacked the warmth and friendliness I’d expect from a four-star hotel. Overall, I felt the price didn’t quite match the quality, and I left a bit disappointed despite the great location. If you’re looking for a more modern option, I would recommend considering another hotel very near Kyoto Station, which offers a lower price but newer facilities.

The hotel is at a very convenient location to train station and had a nice room with Shinkansen view. However the room was not very clean and some items were leftover from previous customers. I tried to talk to reception however I don’t think they understood English very well

Very good hotel and centrally located and just a minute walk from train station , though the hotel is old but there amenities are new and staff very co operative. Nice stay

Location: very close to Kyoto station , lots of shopping and eatery in the station building. Room is clean , size is just good enough for open 2 luggage. Has air purifier in room. No body lotion/ cream provided. Bed is firm for sleeping. They don't have coin laundry and microwave. Self check in and check out through an machine.

Miyako is an excellent stay for value and comfort. Bathroom is a bit small and fragile. The rest is fine and the automated check-in and out is convenient.

Very convenient location, next to Kyoto station. Only bad thing is, hotel is huge, from my room to elevator took 3 minutes walking. And this just one wing on my side. Please request room close to elevator can avoid this problem. Hotel is across from west exit. Hotel has walk way from Kyoto station, and has a lot shops and restaurants. Room is big, and has siting area for coffee by the window. I will stay at this hotel again.
