Ala Hotel Kyoto

The location of the hotel is perfect. Very close from the Kyoto station. The room is quite spacious and very clean. I liked that there is natural hot spring. One thing I would like to point out that I stayed for 3 nights and 2 nights I could not use the wifi. I tried reconnecting several times but still didn’t work. I didn’t call the reception and just used data, but it would be great if they can fix any issues soon.

The hotel’s location was really good, close to one of the many station exits of Kyoto. Depending on which line you are taking (JR or metro), the exit will be able to lead you there by walking the underground route. This is good especially on rainy days with strong wind to stay warm n dry for longer. The hotel’s amenities felt top notch with everything looking squeaky clean and modern. Although there’s a private shower in the room, the public bath was way more attractive. Other than towels which you will need to bring from your room, everything can be found in the public bath that’s neccessary for a good shower/soak (plus the toiletries smell really nice too). I really love my stay at the hotel and would definitely consider rebooking again in my next trip.

Excellent hotel. We will stay here again if we visit Kyoto in the future.
