Complete disaster! Apart from the poor signage, this was rude behavior from the reception staff! I have never had experienced anything like that! And I found it to be harassing behavior! I have been travelling to Norway for more than 20 years and have always had good experiences! Unfortunately there is ONE exception - and that is the rude staff at the reception of this campsite! You never forget something like that! One star is to much! Never again!

Our cabin was facing the waterfront which was lovely. It was advertised for 3, but I think it would be difficult for two adults to sleep next to each other in the bed, which was also very creaky. There are only 8 cubicles which contain shower and the toilet, so we had to queue both in the evening and in the morning and inside all was very wet and therefore didn't feel clean. The site is quite a way out of town, so we drove back to Alesund. The reception only sells crisps and ice cream but apparently there is a supermarket nearby.

We rented a small cabin for one night. It was clean and the staff was helpful. Bathrooms were clean as well. It was a cheap stay with a nice view. Location is alright, a 25 minute walk to the city centre or a short bus trip away. The area was quiet even though it was a lot of guests the night we stayed.

We stayed in a room with a small kitchen (fridge and hob) and separate bathroom with shower, which is good. Unfortunately, the room did not feel completely clean and the beds were uncomfortable and creaky. Presumably some moisture damage as well. A small upgrade probably wouldn't have been a bad idea. Due to an ongoing festival (which we did not attend) with a lot of noise in the area, we had to cancel our stay one night earlier than we had planned. We were reimbursed for this, as the landlord understood that it was difficult to offer a good night's sleep in those surroundings. We greatly appreciate this! Overall, I would say that we as adults may not be the right target group for this particular apartment, especially this weekend, but I understand that others think it might be ok for a night or three.

Positives: kitchen in the room, good wifi. Negatives: poor rooms, uncomfortable beds, cold bathroom, hole in the door, you can hear your neighbors from other rooms, location on a busy road. If I am in Alesund I will look for another place to stay.

We stayed here for 1 night and will certainly not stay for a while, the campsite does not invite this. Nice young man at the reception, helpful but only after his phone call (no reservation) had ended. The sanitary block is not the newest, but it can get by.
