The RIYAZ Lavanya Langkawi

The hotel is well-maintained and looks very new. The king-size bed is extremely comfortable, with a Serta mattress that makes for a great night’s sleep—I almost didn’t want to leave the bed! The decor features white mosaic marble, and the toiletries are from Balmain. The location is also great, not too far from Cenang—just a 5-6 minute drive. Walking is possible, but it can be quite hot. The breakfast is also delicious, with freshly prepared dishes: omelette, chicken soup noodle. There are restaurants across the street, including the Orkid Seafood Restaurant. Behind the hotel, there’s also a beach, and they provide a buggy service to take you there.The pool is awesome! 24hours gym. Got jacuzzi and sauna. However, some towels were a bit yellowed, and the water in the bathtub was slightly discolored, though the shower water was fine. I noted that I was celebrating a birthday, and they thoughtfully prepared a cake and decorations for me.

Very good hotel, excellent service Muat try breakfast buffet and best root top pool in town. Will definitely stay again if come to Langkawi in the future

Overall Our stay was very pleasant, and the excellent service and friendly staff significantly contributed to the positive experience. Pros: 1. Excellent amenities: The rooftop pool offered stunning sea and sunset views. We especially loved the jacuzzi, which provided good privacy as it was separate from the main pool. The 24-hour gym, with its sea-facing view, was also a highlight. 2. Each room featured a bathtub, adequately sized for one person. 3. The hotel's location was convenient, near Cenang Beach. While not within walking distance, Grab rides were readily available and inexpensive (approximately RM5-6 per trip). Several massage spas were also within a 5-7 minute walk." 4. The hotel staff, including those at the front desk, porters, and restaurant staff, were consistently helpful and friendly. 5. The hotel is new, and requests for replenished toiletries were handled promptly. Cons: 1. The food at the rooftop pool bar was disappointing and overpriced. While the cocktails and beer were satisfactory, the food quality was subpar. We ordered calamari, which was shockingly small (see attached pictures - fewer than 10 pieces, with the first two large pieces being onion rings with no squid). This small plate cost RM28, which felt excessive. We would have preferred to spend that amount on another cocktail. 2. The breakfast experience was underwhelming. Although the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, the food itself was not tasty. The main course was served as a set meal (one serving per person), and the beverage and salad bar options were limited. Over our 4D3N stay, the menu remained unchanged. 3. Daily room service consisted only of replenishing toiletries, towels, and water bottles, and making the bed. In four days, the floor was not vacuumed once. There was noticeable hair on the floor, which was never cleaned up. Even at home, we typically sweep our floors aevery other day. 4. Sea view rooms on the 6th floor have their view largely obstructed by trees.

This hotel was a disappointment. I had a very unpleasant experience with the security guard upon entering. The security guard immediately blocked our car and then pointed at us in a very rude manner. Even after complaining to the front desk, nothing was done about it. The duty manager showed no concern for the incident and seemed only focused on following the hotel’s procedure as directed by the GM. • Pool: 5/5 • Breakfast: 1/5, served cold Nasi Lemak, and only one portion allowed per person • Room: 4/5 Overall, I would advise against staying here, as it could negatively affect your holiday experience.

Hotel is very new and good, everything is perfect, staff is super friendly as well

Perfect hotel. No need many words. Everything is perfect. The only drawback of this hotel is its far from beach. Need take a ride to get to the beach.
