The place is very excellent in terms of privacy, especially since it has number 8, but there is no landline to communicate with the hotel staff. You can only communicate on the phone number, but everything in the hotel from reception and service is private 👏🏻

From the moment we arrived at Ambong in Langkawi, we were treated with such warmth and care that it instantly felt like home. The resort itself is a tropical paradise, but what truly sets it apart is the heart and dedication of the staff. One of the most touching moments of our stay was the beautiful surprise they prepared for us—on my birthday, they went above and beyond to decorate our bed with fresh leaves and flowers, spelling out “Happy Birthday” in the most elegant and thoughtful way. It was a gesture that showed their incredible attention to detail and genuine care for their guests. It wasn’t just a service; it was an act of kindness that made our special day even more memorable. Every aspect of our stay was impeccable, from the cozy and well-maintained rooms to the stunning views, delicious food, and serene atmosphere. The staff always greeted us with smiles and made sure every need was met. Their hospitality was truly world-class. We loved all aspects of our stay from the friendly airport pickup to our send off at the villa. We loved the service, the friendly staff, the view from our villa, the pool where we spent a lot of our time, the monkeys that swung from the trees and the food which was great. We hope to return sometime soon.

What an amazing place to stay! The staff could not do enough for us and the villas, wow! This is a really luxury retreat and the settings are truly special! The food was excellent at Rimba restaurant and they even delivered to your villa if you wished. Shifa, was exceptional and made our stay one to remember. Restaurant manager (sorry forgot the name) was on hand for all our needs and staff took time to drop us at beach, pick us up and be on hand. We will return to Ambong it was also special as I was proposed to and they put wine in our fridge to help us celebrate.

What a wonderful place to stay. We had a sunset villa with incredible views that was also very clean and comfortable. The room service breakfast eaten outside was such a treat. The staff were always helpful and friendly. We were disappointed by the food on one night at Rimba but ate twice at the vegan restaurant on the Rainforest side and loved it, and our room service dinner from Rimba was excellent. We also indulged in several spa treatments which were very relaxing and professionally delivered. This was an exceptional place to stay - it is priced accordingly but we felt it was good value.

We visited Langkawi in December 2023 and stayed at the Ambong Pool Villas. From the moment we checked in to the moment we departed, we were well looked after by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to help us feel welcome. The villa we stayed in was a sight to behold! The private pool was huge and inviting. The villa itself was clean, spacious and well-appointed, surrounded by lush green trees and view of the ocean. It was hard not to feel zen in such a beautiful villa. We also enjoyed spa treatments at the in-house spa, which was nestled in calm, beautiful surroundings. Another thing we appreciated was the ability to communicate with the reception via WhatsApp. They were very responsive and you can order in-room dining via WhatsApp or ask questions pretty much any time. Overall, it was an excellent stay and we would highly recommend the resort both for its amenities and services.
