We had an amazing trip and the hotel was a big part of it. The room was nice, the airport is nearby by you can’t really hear the planes, it’s out of the city area so its quiet(but close enough that you can get a grab and be at Cenang beach quickly), the beach in front was basically empty the whole time (can’t really swim in it, but nice to look at), the pool is big and looks over the beach, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We spend more days at the pool than anything else.  To be honest, the hotel is a bit older and there are a few things that could be updated. But all the positives outweighed the negatives, just be aware it’s not an updated new hotel and you’ll be fine.

The host Didi and his wife were very helpful! Explained everything about Langkawi and answered all of our questions. Nice breakfast. Also want to mention strategic location of this Lodge since it’s almost close to everything useful on the island: airport, beaches in the east with some nice restaurants (seafood in particular) and duty free shops as well as beaches in the north (we liked Skull beach very much) and skybridge entertainment. So surely I recommend Ocean Lodge!

Love the hotel . Love the ambiance and of course the helpful staff . They willingly to send out breakfast in the rain to our villa. Much appreciated and thankful .

For the price, the hotel is ok. Nice pool and adequately sized rooms. The balcony, with a slight seaview was nice. Breakfast was a bit limited and boring. Bed linen is old and clean but stained. The shower needs a curtain to prevent wetting the whole toilet room. A movie is screened every night on the wall at the pool - a novel idea! Not much around, but two restaurants nearby are decent and a supermarket about 1km away is well stocked.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life this is an amazing place to unwind. They offer a small fenced house which is spacious with patio and large room and a working desk. The internet is super fast in the lobby around 750mb, can be a little slower in the last rooms but on an average internet was super fast. The bathroom is open with curtains but there are doors and locks and high fence for privacy. This bothered some guests when I read reviews but it’s just fine. Facilities are good and service also. There is an honest snack bar for late night snacks and prices are as in regular shops. Breakfast choices are plenty which is quite nice and you can have breakfast next to the beach. Although dinner is also served I didn’t try it but reviews were good. The hotel is next to the beach so it’s refreshing with several sun loungers and beach towels provided.z Overall it was a fantastic stay with calm and quiet atmosphere. If you want to relax this is an ideal place. Grab to the nearest beach and shopping mall is approx 10 RM. Airport is 5 mins away.

Very basic hotel next to the airport that met our needs. Quiet, clean toilet, hot water, nice beds. Good that it had a cold n hot water dispenser at the lobby. Loved that it was quiet n not crowded.

The rooms are generally in line with the price requirements, cost-effective, there is a supermarket downstairs, breakfast is satisfactory, the front desk does not provide 24-hour service, check-out time is required, please inform in advance

Good and quick services from the hotel reception. Very quick response and attentive. So far, apartment’s room and beds are spacious. If i am honest, i like the design and spacious room for apartment especially when come in with family and children’s but the bedsheets, mattress, blankets and pillow’s suggest to be change frequently for hygienic. Be ready to accept for the place and conditions because of building is utmost old. Location are close to international airport so no rush.
