Atlantis Hotel

Beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are cute , clean and comfortable. The hotel is right on the beach and is connected to other restaurants n bar through a walkable path that follows the beach line . We loved our stay here!

This is the place to be if you want beauty, peace and quiet and romance. Off the beaten path, but with 5 to 6 restaurants within walking distance, including the hotel restaurant, this the place to be if you cane to seim in the pcean and rest by the beach. Really the R and R vacation. Most beautiful veach ive ever been to. Take a left on the besch and walk, far, to playa coson and restaurant Lyis. Soend sunday night at Soho right next door, for sunday night movies. Ho yo Moskito if you ever get bored and want a little more action. Walk or drive toward town and stop at Bodega for craft beer and great snacks you may be homesick fir.

Hands down, this is BY FAR the best restaurant in Las Terrenas! The food is absolutely delicious! As appetizers I loved the smoked fish (homemade!) and the two fish carpaccio with fresh fruits. As mains I loved the grilled creole beef tenderloin with the five peppers sauce and lobster, crab and prawns with puff pastry. The desserts...? OMG, to DIE for! Consistent for years. The service is always excellent and very discreet and the place is so pretty, so romantic! And what I appreciate very much too is that there's no noice, no loud music. Whether you go for a lunch on the beach or an excellent dinner, THIS is the place to go!

If you are looking for a relaxing Dominican getaway but not interested in the all-inclusive, could-be-anywhere type places, you cannot do better than Hotel Atlantis. It is a very beautiful facility, pleasant and quiet and very well-run. The layout is far from a simple, block-type building, so the rooms have character and a good bit of privacy. Parts of it look like they date from a good while back, but it is extremely well kept up and clean. The food and service are first-rate, the views serene and delightful. If you want more activity, there are livelier places just down the beach, including some other good restaurants; but you may well find yourself perfectly content to spend most of your time just kicked back right here.

This place is amazing, the location, the beaches, the rooms, the relaxing area in the greenery, the food the staff, all is amazing!! I would choose this place over the best resort in this world because it is my favorite place in this world. Thank you all the staff, manager, and special owner for the perfect vacation!!

Room was spacious, the beach right on the hotel was great for kids, shallow and clean. Great stay for a family vacation

no tv….wifi signal not strong and steady…. very quiet….no music…this place is like a library…we had to walk to another hotel for a festive atmosphere

We loved our week here in the Lima room. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They booked an excursion via horseback to the famous El Limon waterfall (which I highly recommend.) The atmosphere on the property is chill. Quiet, not a lot of people, great for relaxing. Atlantis does not have their own beach (it appears that they once did, but erosion has taken it away.) But there are plenty of other beaches in the area where you can swim and surf so it's not an issue. If you want lots of activities, this is not the place for you. Each day starts with a continental breakfast served outdoors. You can add eggs, crepes or fruit for not much cost. The property is dense with palm trees so you can find both sun or shade for relaxing and reading. They have a lovely bar area, great for enjoying a cocktail in the evening or hanging out during the rare rain shower. There is a brick "boardwalk" that runs for about a half a mile from the Atlantis along the ocean. Along the boardwalk are several good bars and restaurants. We ate all our meals either at the Atlantis or at one of these walkable restaurants. The hotel arranged taxis to and from the Samana airport for us at a cost of $80 each way. I had to email them a couple times and ultimately call them (some of their staff speak limited English) but it all worked out.
