On the way to Matabungkai Beach, my friend got stabbed by an old iron and contracted tetanus. While I was going back to the hotel to get a ride to the hospital and get a light disinfection, my friend collapsed. Thanks to the quick response of the staff, there were no problems. I had to wait outside until the treatment at the hospital was over (about 2 hours), and it was a disappointing hotel for just one night. The swimming pool, food, and massage were all perfect. If I go to the Philippines again in the future, this is one of the hotels I will definitely book ๐๐

Donโt go to this place when traveling. It may be suitable for locals. The swimming pool is dirty and the sea is full of rocks. In the end, the hotelโs car was sent to another hotel in Batangas for 7800. It was the most expensive car I used. It was only about 50 kilometers to my hotel. In the end, I ordered it from the hotel in Batangas and sent it back to Manila. It took more than two hours to collect 6,500 Toyota bread.

Not worth it, the room is old, similar to domestic guest houses, there are dragonflies and cockroaches in the room. Outside facilities are also available. But it's better on that beach.

Superior Water Villa was clean, spacious and offers a great view of the sea. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks were ok but have minimal choices for vegans/vegetarians. Swimming pools are clean. Towels are made available by the pool area since we cannot bring out the towels from our room. However, there were times when there are no towels available and waiting time is long probably because there were lots of visitors at the time. We were able to swim by the sea only during afternoons since it was low tide during mornings and the beach front was dry and has lots of sea ****s. The property was gracious enough to accompany us in the nearby public beach so that we can swim even when it is low tide. However, sea water tends to be a bit muddy probably due to to the black sand by the beach. There were lots of water activities available for those who have extra budget and a thirst for adventure. Our overall experience in Matabungkay Beach Hotel is great. Thank you for the memorable and fun experience!
