We booked a room by phone. They told us that the room we saw on the website was not available and they offered us an upgrade, placing us in the triple room. However, when we arrive at the hotel, the girl at the reception welcomes us immediately, asking us if they had warned us about the type of room. In reality, no one had warned us that the only room available, which is the one we entered, but immediately ran away from, was the room for the handicapped. No problem about it, except that obviously the bathroom was only for the handicapped, and the shower obviously without a basic tub, but also without a curtain. Till here we might as well have stayed however the room was chock full of ants so we absolutely refused to stay in such a condition. Since it was during the holidays, you had a duty to warn us in time about the type of room proposed, since for us it was not a small problem to find another one available nearby .. Which obviously did not happen, we had to go a long way from our place of interest, and pay double. Terrible experience, will never set foot there again. We had heard from relatives and friends in the area who strongly advised us against it given the fame it is covered with, but it was the only one available in the area, now we understand why. AVOID IT!

Very dirty and old hotel, I would not say a 3 star but a 2. Poor breakfast with hard brioches and canned fruit salad. The only beautiful thing is the sea view. Be careful to lean over the terrace which could fall. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Very good reception at the reception, small but really nice room, breakfast nothing to complain my girlfriend is celiac and they also had products for her and finally honest prices, who goes to ostia and has to stay overnight I recommend it 👍🏻

The staff members are friendly and helpful. The room n. 60 is small, has a TV but no mini fridge, the bed has an objectively uncomfortable spring mattress, the room has no window other than the one in the front door ... this last feature makes the overnight stay a bit depressing. The main problem is cleanliness, the room is too dirty, especially the bathroom. There was a small dead spider on the bed, a lot of dust on the towel rail / wall radiator and a hair of unknown origin in the bidet. The hairdryer in the bathroom "worked" intermittently, turned on for 20 seconds then turned off by itself and did not work for a few minutes. The breakfast was good. All in all, for what it costs, you can't expect more. I recommend it to those who are satisfied and are not looking for anything sophisticated, honestly I would not recommend it for large families ...

I stopped for one night only with my son we were passing through, very comfortable and spacious room, located on the seafront and close to the center of Ostia with all the nearby restaurants, standard breakfast

Holiday in Ostia, we choose the Ping Pong hotel as accommodation to sleep, a slightly retro hotel both externally and internally, if it were renovated and modernized it could really be the excellence on the Roman coast. We were greeted by the receptionist named Chiara (I hope not to get the name wrong), greeted with a smile and kindness, a professionalism and courtesy that you rarely see nowadays, and I know something about it since I often travel the world. He immediately checked us in, gave us the main information to better enjoy the stay at the structure, which has an agreement with a beach right in front, and a restaurant a few steps from the structure, Moose Bistrot, another small excellence of the Roman coast . The room was sea view, very clean, a little shame about the furniture and the small bathroom. Breakfast without great pretensions, a bit rough waitress, but those who are satisfied enjoy it. I would advise the management to invest more in the structure to bring it to the top, given the great quality of all the cleaning and reception staff, young, professional and friendly.
